This game had its problems. But it's a good game now. Better than dr2. Yeah the graphics ain't better but the Game is more fun and just better overall

EA WRC is a lifess game.

Well somewhere is ok and somewhere jut ok... The best you can find in RBR which is miles ahead of this arcade rally parody game.

So you are just taking one scene from each game and say it's a complete comparison and call it a day. How very typical. Also it seems like you are biased towards DR2. You can make anything look better than something else if you are biased, wether you are aware of it or not.

Dirt Rally vs Butter Rally!

WRC is so weird. It sometimes looks better and sometimes it looks worse. THey definitely got worse vegetation on the side, but also the ligh conditions are more realistic. But realistic does not mean good as it just has this boring overcast that is ugly most of the time. Besides that sometimes colors look weird. Like here the subaru is so weirdly blue. I preffer DR 2.0

DR 1 is even better in some aspects 😏

One is a simulator. The other isn't. Both are valid games in their own genre. Stop smearing at driving games for not being "realistic". Some of the best driving games that ever existed are far from being "realistic"

You guys need to think for a second. The interior sound is obviously way more accurate as this shows that Codemasters have re-recorded the interior sound and changed it to make it more realistic. If Dirt Rally’s audio was the more realistic one, don’t you think they would’ve stuck with that audio makeup? They’ve changed it for a reason to make it sound like the real car. You can hear the whine of the transmission, audio muffling from being inside the cabin. It’s clear that in DR2.0 they’ve just take the exterior audio and muffled it a bit. Whereas EAWRC have properly recorded interior audio.

Rallysimfans RBR > everything else. Sadly.

DR 2.0 has an actual speedy-feel to it. WRC is like a suped-up roblox game.

WRC is improved DR2 with MUCH better stages. Too bad they chose unreal engine.

The biggest problem with EAWRC is the suspension and the camera. There's barely any movement which takes the excitment and immersion out of it.

I really don't get why they nerfed the subaru sound so hard.

THE rally game is RBR (RSF nowadays). Tarmac physics in DR2.0 are awful, ffb makes no sense too, etc. It's pretty and I have played a ton, good entry for simrally, but never THE rally game.

ea wrc is not perfect but compaired with all the wrc games before it codemasters is by far the best its hardcore and people are moaning its too hard,its not too hard they just arent very good drivers and like dirt rally 1 and 2 this game will humble drivers who think there all that.

Its impressive that they made something worse than dr2 given how bad dr2 is

i give so much to dirt but i’ve heard richard burns rally is really good and worth a shot. I’ve heard it’s free online for PC if you can find it, or get a copy for PS2. It nowhere matches graphics, or the sound of dirt but the physics engine is apparently incredible.

i am amazed that ea got the rights to wrc and their FIRST RELEASE is worse than a game which came out 4 years before that
