In my personal opinion I think PES5 should be ranked Very Good, PES6 is obviously GOAT. PES2009 was quite decent and 2011 probably the best they every made. I don't think you actually know a whole lot about these games at all because 2011 had groundbreaking tactical progress, for example, which you aren't even mentioning as a change or improvement over 2010.

Does anyone remember which PES had the all time goals scorers feature in Master League, where you could see the accumulated stats across all the seasons you played?

I played it many times but Pes 6 isn't goat, Konami skipped 2007 to make pes 2008, and fifa just wasn't good back then 😂

PES 3 poor? PES 4 and 5 decent? Judging by the fact that PES 6 is on top says a lot. PES 6 is prob the most famous PS2 PES game for some reason even though PES 5 is better. But ive never enjoyed more while playing PES 3 because of the variety of games

1. PES 1 to 2013 had great gameplay. 2. PES 2014 onwards used a "different engine", the FOX engine, and the games had horrible clunky FIFA like mechanics. 3. PES 2021 was a good game but needed modding and by this time FIFA had already won due to Real names and card collecting.

PES 2017 is the last truly great pro evo game on the ps4 era. It was excellent and in my opinion one of, if not the best pes of all time. It is on par with the 2013 and 5/6 versions. The problem is that, after the disasterous 2014 version and the mediocre 2015 version, many people switched to fifa and never came back. 2016 ironically was a good game and better than the previous ones but 2017 was peak gaming, way better than 2016, the must fun and most balanced pes, hands down. 2018 made me feel weird when paying it. It was something that i just didnt like about that game. The graphics, the AI behavior, the grass which looked like a big green plastic hall, i dont know. The one that i bought (again) recently is 2019, because i think that after the datapacks and updates it became a VERY good pes indeed. It just had a rough start on the season. Efootball 2020/21 were the reason i stopped playing pes games and this says alot.

Very Good : PES 3, PES 2, Good : PES 6, PES 4, PES 2017, PES 1, PES 5 Fair : PES 2015, PES 2011, PES 2012, PES 2013 (i believe this one was a bit overrated) Bad : PES 2010, PES 2016, PES 2014, Trash : PES 2008, PES 2009, any PES after 2017
