Here I will be rebuilding the top end of my Kawasaki kx65. This isn’t the first time i’ve rebuilt an engine. Only try this if you’re sure you can. Otherwise take it to a shop. It’s really not hard, I hoped you learned something!
FMF Vs Stock KLX 140 Muffler #12
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
FMF is very easy to install this took less than 30 minutes.
Fmf vs Pro Circuit vs stock kx100 exhaust #10
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
I will be comparing the stock kawasaki muffler to a fmf, then comparing it to the pro circuit. The pro circuit was cheaper then the fmf, and provided higher performance as well as a heck of a lot better sound. I would 100% recommend the pro circuit over the fmf.

I’ll be installing an fmf shorty and Vforce 3 reeds to see if it makes a difference. I instantly noticed more low-mid range power and better throttle response

Motorized bike with no spark can it be fixed? #3
30mm is too big for this engine, a 21mm is perfect
You honed a plated cylinder, thats not something you should do, its fine for iron bores but not plated, hopefully it doesnt blow
You can hone plated cylinders, you just can’t do it for long. It takes minutes of honing to cause any damage.
That looks like a 28mm carb which is way too big, go with a 21mm
What the top speed?
when i had a fouled plug i would get a small jar and spray some carburetor cleaner into it and soak the electrode part of the plug for an hour or two. That loosened the crap on the bent piece and it DID start again
Mph?
you need to change you sprocket to a smaller one it's retardant.
Hey I have a kx112 and I don’t know what exhaust to get
@sliprope6674 my bike had weak spark but it somehow wouldn't fire up though
You should always stuff a rag around the crankshaft so you don't drop anything inside the motor like those clip pins in the piston.😮😮😮
Yep always
I have a bbr angle fire engine kit on my Schwinn bike and it is awesome I have videos in my channel is here
I'm thinking about doing reeds in my 07 kx100, are there any where I don't have to cut off the teeth? just wondering. thanks
I’m not sure, you may have to do it with any of them. It’s really simple though
'promosm'
28mm is to big
A boost bottle would have made a difference. And more money in your pocket
Thank you for letting it warm up🙏
I commend you for working on your own bike. Learn how to properly use a Volt Ohm Meter and your readings will be more accurate. When you are checking the Magneto coil, set it at the 2K (Two Thousand) Ohm setting. If the coil is good, it will read in the 300 Ohm area. This can be done before removing the magneto stator from the bike. When mounting the stator, use two business cards on each side (4 cards total) to set the gap for the magnet rotor to the stator before tightening the screws. There is wiggle room to allow this adjustment and properly done, increases performance of the system.
Use 32:1 Hearing you say 55:1 hurt me, bad.
Both nice bikes but i dont think either of them come close to the ktm 105, good video
Great video! You might want to read about porting the exhaust port, since you have increase the intake volume and cylinder volume at the same stroke, the exhaust gasses must escape quickly. În other words increasing the cylinder bore will increase the pressure în the crankcase chamber wich will afect the transfer. Bigger îs not allways better. Bigger bore you have to raise the exhaust port a bit for smoother transfer and higher rpm. Read about it we all began like this. Cheers!
Are you in new hampshire?
Ohio
Looking good. Next time try to make the handle with the grain going the long way the best you can. Itll make it much stronger. But nice job!
This is 100 percent better of you motorized bike
That carb is to big for you motor is better 21mm carb and see you buy 28mmcarb
The window piston is high hole and you piston in the bike is low hole
Nice job
lol ok i jumped yhe gun .yell yes bro plug it.. u did good kid only thing we can do is practice to make it perfect buddy
bro plug ur bottom so nothing goes in it
Are they the same height and witch one is faster
Yeah pretty much the same the 112 has more torque
@@sliprope6674 thank you
Yes way to rich . Till you leaner out some you can,t tell.
Idle is a lil high there bud
It’s called a choke “bud”
I chipped the bolt
Excuse me please, can you tell me the size bicycle you have ?
The tires are 26”
I've been thinking about doing this to my yd100 and I wouldn't of went any bigger than a 24mm carb on a 66cc
What was the effect of changing your stock exhaust to the expansion chamber muffler and silencer? Did you notice anything for torque and speed? How was the sound different?
It is much louder and more powerful
@@sliprope6674 is the extra power worth putting up with the noise ?
@@Heyemeyohsts yes
i like original shound exhause 🤗
Nice video. Stripped the hell out of my bottom nut but I got it tightened. 😂
It doesn't say mikuni
Seems it’s best to just install new battery every year Battery doesn’t last long with the electric clutch units
Good luck and you’ll need it with the yellow one
The new thing sucks will not seal right don't buy
Did you ever get it tuned properly? What size carb is that?
If you would have put the original head back on the bike in the original head gasket you probably would have got more compression and definitely would have got more power with that window piston that came with the Reed kit the original head and head gasket probably would have given you the clearance needed to use the new piston
Does the 1122 have the same power valve?
I’m pretty sure
You should have got a nibbi racing carb pe28 best quality not spray painted crap mialcunei
Them new blocks suck that put it on the jug don't get them
Shoulda tried starting it first with start fluid before wasting your time
Turned out very nice💯👍🏾
hey a question on which website did you buy this exhaust?
Rocky Mountain ATV
@@sliprope6674when I look up the exhaust, I do not find it on the website, what name did you enter in the website?
Lol bruh you said nah not making another motorized bicycle video
You want one?
@@sliprope6674 yes very much so!
Ok I’ll make one next time I get it out
