I remember seeing Charlie from onewhocollects at the national in Portland back in 2004 on the interrior judging team, couldn't have been more than 14 years old. Fantastic video of the Gilmore and the Ford Model A’s. Great to see the 400A and to anyone that hasn’t been there, make it a reality and go.

Help ! My Tudor passenger door rubs the A pillar when almost closed and I can feel the resistance increase as the door is is about 2 inches from closed. Is it acceptable to fab shims and install them between the hinge and body ? Because the roof is chopped, I don't use the upper hinge at all (no pin) so the stress is between the lower 2 hinges against the body. Is there a method to correct without shims ? Thank you.

Visited there in July for the first time I forgot about the model A days in September. I will be there next year for this event. I purchased tickets to win that model A. I would love to win it.

Tina, I bought my A 2003 after my mom died. First time I heard my dad laugh was when he picked it up for me and the water pump went out. We enjoyed it together til he died. Decided to rattle can paint it to keep it from rotting down. Just put the top back on, gonna crank it this week. Thanks for the tips.

So the under laying paint is of an inferior quality to the over coat of heat resistant paint. OK. Got it.

Ahhh I see you have fallen into the auction house trap of calling those Muscle Cars. That type of car - Mustang, Camaro, Barracuda, Challenger, Cougar, Firebird were all known as Pony Cars. Named after the Mustang that started it all. Muscle Cars were created by John DeLorean when he stuffed a big block engine into a Tempest - that became the GTO and any mid size car with a big block was a Muscle Car - Road Runner, GTX, Torino, Malibu, etc. But the auction houses found out people are willing to spend more money on a macho Muscle Car than defining it as a Pony Car that Ford originally targeted for sales to secretaries.

Wow, fantastic video of the Mustangs. Just a few years ago we had 4 Mustangs in the garage, one was a 66 Shelby and a Boss 302. Lost interest in them and sold them off after the passing of my father. He was a 30’s guy, so I started looking at them and today I have the 31 400A and 35 Tudor that is a true survivor car. My first car was a 67 Mustang almost like the rustang in the display, but that was in 76. Now I’m playing Grandpa with the oldies. KY Ken

Thanks for the tour. I owned a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 the same color as the one in your video. It was an ok car but had poor suspension like all the old Mustangs for curvy roads. Paid $1,500 cash for it years ago. Went to Pontiac Trans Am's after this.

Video Request: Can you show an overview of all of the components of a rumble seat? My 1929 was acquired with it half converted from trunk to rumble, but I am having trouble finding images online of the rear / bottom rubber stops and their installation location. Mine already has the seat, latch, and hinges installed, but not the rubber bumper stops on the lower or upper area.
