Thanks Tina. It was a very different place when we arrived today. A car load of us from the Capitol A’s got there around 8:30 this morning and most of the folks were either packed up and gone or were packing up. It was my first Turlock meet and I was hoping to catch up with some of the big names, but alas we were not early enough I guess. We had a good time regardless and I did find a manifold heater on the back 40. My son managed to pet every puppy dog in the place. Hopefully next year we will make it down on Saturday. I have loved to catch up with Mr. Mitchell, and also the Arizona model A guy.

I found out at least for me that having the right type of shoe made a difference. I tried with my tennis shoes which had soft rubber soles and couldn't get my A started,so I switched to my hard sole moccasins and it fired right up! Go figure!!!

California prices are crazy. But you do have a ton of parts to choose from.

I see it says just $10 admission when in fact I had to pay $20 bucks each for 2 of us.i seen a sewing machine but never found the kitchen sink! I been going to turlock swap for over 20 yrs and it's hit or miss I'm out 40 bucks as I found nothing I needed! I needed 68 firebird,69 chevelle, 67 mercury comet,71-73 vega,69 442 parts and I absolutely found nothing! Wasted my sat morning and afternoon,but like I said,it's hit or miss! I am in Sacramento but from woodland and I usually do really good there!

Where oh where did you get the mirrors for the glass? As you mentioned before vibration in an A can be pretty intense. How do they work mounted out there?

My, a lot of really cool stuff there at the swap meet. I would love to have something like that Model AA truck, but being retired the budget isn't there for that type of purchase, at least at this time, maybe sometime after house repairs and upgrades. Anyways, I enjoyed watching, thanks and I hope you and The Husband Unit have a Blessed weekend!

I (kinda) understand how people could think you were in danger, BUT, your followers should know that you are way north of the fires. Also, they should know that Paul takes January off from posting because of his work schedule. It was mentioned multiple times in December videos. Here in Minnesota, we are just coming out of one of the coldest few days we have had in almost a year (high temps of -teens, windchills in the -30's-40's) God bless the both of you, keep up the good work and I am looking forward to new videos.

May be a long shot but have you tried a place in Michigan called C.A.R.S. or Can Am Restoration Supply , they used to carry all kinds of OEM upholstery materials ,

Hi Model T, thank-you for showing this awesome museum, there blessed 😇 to have U on the board. Tina, does Roadie, leak a lot of engine oil & transmission oil? And does the rear axle drip oil too? I had a 1931 Ford Model A when I was 17, did not know how to maintain it, so I sold it. It was all redone & painted like new, an old gentleman had owned it, he fixed it up like showroom condition. But it leaked oil like crazy 😜 so my Mother, made me get rid of it. Made a huge mess on her garage floor, she hated all that oil on floor. 😢 I wished I still had it! Lol 😂 Well show some more work being done ✅ on Roadie, I love to watch! Well U & Paul, take care & stay safe! 😊
