I feel the same about not telling my parents because my dad has bad health and it makes me feel guilty and sad that I now he would never accept me as a transvestite and be happy for me.

I sent this to my mom. My youngest brother and I are both queer and only our middle brother is the straight one our of her 3 kids lol. She is a baby boomer and while I'm proud of her progress regarding her feelings on LGBT I understand that it still difficult for her to grapple with. We are from the southern Appalachians and raised Christian so she worried her babies will burn in hell which breaks my heart so much. If god is truly merciful he doesn't condemn us. Love can only come from god since he created us in his image to love! Hatred is from satan.

great to see an older intersex person and trans person, im a trans and intersex person so to me this was preety wonderfull because rarely are either talked about better yet in one video and good to see people understanding those are different things as well and also that intersex is explained as being a sort of personal complex thing because it is and can't be explained simply

Really engaging and illuminating of the lived realities of a selection of senior "queers" in the country. Loved the amount of time spent to hear each of their stories. Rural lgbti stories need to be told as much as senior lgbti stories.... next stop, transmen, CALD lgbti, Aces, lgbti with disabilities, non binary folk, religious lgbti and perhaps even the "Straight Pride" phenomena! It is true to remember that any and all of the legislated protective rights can be reversed, amended and erased depending on the sociopolitical climate of the day. This is a reality of minority politics in a democracy. Thanks Issie for advancing the safety, security and understanding of lgbti communities and strengthening the diverse presentation of people who are same sex attracted and non conforming to the dominant discourses of how we must be in the world....

The person at 3.04 mins is making up their own science. NATURE KNOWS: A male has YY chromosomes...a woman has XY. The X gives women lactating breasts..a womb and ovaries. This makes a woman...a woman. The double Y does not have and never can have the latter... Trans 'Women' do not exist...there should be some other name for men who wish to dress like and live their lives like women.

I want the Lbgt know now all homophobic/homophobia is not bad matter of fact I want to like take their rights away ik oh my god Your a demon no im not ik what im doing... After i take there rights away i want them to get along with a homophobia and a homophobia get along with them_ _And a homophobic get along with them too...Saying im crazy im not crazy guys....Its better to do that in my eye's why did the GLBT gotten rights in the first place cuz they wanted to complain and the ppl was seeing it...tbh with you ppl every body get treated badly not only them .....its part of life so you gonna give them rights cuz they feel threaten,being harassment because they are gay,Bisexual etc yeah i get that but hey they aren't the only ones what about the cancer ppl what about the ppl who are in special ED they get picked on cuz they get special help programs cuz they when they was a baby something in there minds didn't development right. Like hell I get bullied cuz im in that program...or ppl getting shoot at cuz of there different skin color ....but no before they gotten rights they didn't talk about what would happen if we let them get rights sooner or later someone like myself gonna stand up and said im sick of the Lbgt doing this and that ik one day it will maybe it won't do me a favor but dog dang isn't there something in your life and mines i understand what they gone through but this world been in hell being in a big hole...okay doesn't it matter huh?
