Since a Chaos Empowered Abaddon was almost slain by a elderly Sigismund, Yes. I don't believe any Marine could stand against either of these monsters in their Prime. Only these 2 could survive A encounter with the other. A True Ying Yang.

Ok. I'm an old GEN-X dude, I took 14-years off from my 40k addiction. I don't like a lot of thinks that GW has done with the lore. I did not WANT to enjoy the new lore. After hearing this though... Might have to give it a try.

@@Doriantheloreian I enjoyed it enough to get the Omnibus. It's the only non-fiction title in my "to read" list, at the moment. I hope you continue narrating when and if you can find the time. And if not, then at least make time to have fun.

Despite the victor being arguably be either through legal: Sigismund or practical: Sevatar. Sevatar really taught Sigismund that fighting dirty over honor can really help you even in the most stickiest situations. As Sigismund later on while being held by Fulgrim, used his chained black sword to slash Fulgrim unexpectedly on the lips.

It’s such a fantastic fight, and I feel like a lot of that was due to the writer not nerfing either of the combatants to make the other look stronger. I was really expecting Siggy to be some unstoppable juggernaut and for the legendary duel to be made into some false remembrance the Night Lords had in order to make themselves feel better. But this was great, both characters were absolutely nailed, getting their respective times to shine. As a huge fan of Sevatar, I’m also glad we never get his perspective. It makes him a lot more intimidating when he’s just an elemental force, an embodiment of the best and worst of the Legion. Absolute props to the author
I really loved this story. As you said, it has a little bit of everything and I especially enjoyed the perspective of a human who has to work with these murderous demi-gods.

That is correct. It is written as "Addressing the XIII Legion" I myself have wondered if the Author meant to write " VIII Legion" and it just flew under the editing radar.

Other legions bomb world's kill millions and so untold damage to a planet to achieve compliance and no one bats an eye. Night lords torture a few thousand people and achieve compliance without destroying half the world and it's population and everyone losses there minds, and they did it all under the orders of the Emperor the gold plated king of lies. I love this because the Imperial Fists are my favourite Legion and the Night Lords are my favourite traitors because they are traitors on their own accord and didn't just wholesale fall to chaos ... They are renegades more then anything, also Sevatar has the coolest close combat weapon of any Marine ... The Imperial Fists are what I imagine an efficient and disciplined fighting force of humanity would be... They are the paragons of the Martial Human Race..

And bro, tzeench's voice is an opportunity to go crazy with effects, you can literally use any combination of effects literally anything, anything but just dry, it's got to be the funnest voice you could possibly do, do you not have a tool that allows you to change the audio? Bro I've got a million types of software that can do that for you do you want me to send them to you my gift
And it's hard to convey sincerity on TH-cam but I'm not saying that as an asshole I'm saying I'll actually send them to you to help out I've got all kinds of great software for that and you're getting in at a good time for 40k lore and I encourage you to keep up with it

Your production value out the gate is remarkable most for it's fitting amongst others with many more attempts to far wider degrees of their execution. I hope that doesn't come across as backhanded. I genuinely didn't realize I had stumbled upon a new creator until looking up the video to trade laptop for phone. Everything was of a "yeah that checks out for good 40k narration from ___" to the point I wasn't even finishing that thought. Somewhere in the handshake between sub and conscious, I didn't notice the lack of any particular name of the numerous that would obviously be what that "sounds good" was referencing right? Ok one more pass now both the blunt and slightly overwrought takes havve found either extreme past sincerity. You ever play a game that does many things that have been done before, but does them all just that extra bit more competently, and just unique or iterated upon enough, to stand as it's own "proper game"? That'll have to do. Thumbs are mad. TL;DR: S'GOOOOOOOOOOD OK KEEP IT UP

@@anxioussamurai9017Sevatar literally is a psyker and is probably the best duelist ever. It was a miracle Sig was even able to duel him.
@@doublestarships646 If Sevatar was that good, he wouldn't have had to cheat, would he? I do agree that Sevatar was one of the best duelists during the Heresy and would be a challenge for just about everyone. But Sigismund was on another level. Sig even went toe-to-toe with Fulgrim and was able to actually hurt him during the Siege of Terra!
@@anxioussamurai9017 Sig would have won instead of trying his best to fight Sev if he was better. Sev literally knew he could ultimately beat him and decided to end it because he's always in control. Rules to a game are meaningless to him. He made fun of them for setting up rules in the first place.

Great book. It really let's you see that Maximilen Sigismund DID NOT WANT to be a Space Marine. He HATES IT. But he dedicated himself 125%.
