I was just starting High School when Miami Vice came out. After High School, I went to College and received my Criminal Justice Degree and after that, I went to a 2-year Law Enforcement Training Program in the late1990's. One of my Instructors was from Miami, FL and worked for Miami-Dade County Police. He was also an "Extra" for some of the Miami Vice episodes. He said that Don and Philip, along with a few other Cast Members were amazing people, very kind and generous. Miami Vice had great Music, classy Fashion, beautiful Women, but everything was better in the 1980's.

was just a little kid when the pilot episode came out, about 5 years old. I remember asking my mom what movie that was we just watched, when she told me it was a show I was surprised and happy. I remember asking her are they are gonna make a movie like this every week!? she just laughed and proceeded to record every show. I had a miami vice shirt that I wore so much it had holes everywhere but I didn't care, the show was just too cool for a holy shirt to matter.
