thanks! if you plan on playing exclusively solo, i think you'll have a better time with shadower. night lord is extremely burst-heavy and really shines in party bossing with coordinated bursts, damage boosting supports, and consistent binds (origin and otherwise). shadower, while having decent burst, is more of a dpm class and will be more consistent in solo bossing. night lord has practically no defensive utility except dark sight, while shadower has teleports, an , advanced dark sight, etc. shadower also gets 20% meso passively, which is nice in reg server and great in reboot if you plan on farming on it as a main. as for liberating, if you don't limit yourself at all i think the only hard boss on NL is black mage. if you go solo expect a challenge at the end, if not you won't have too hard of a time. i will say i don't think NL is really "complete" as a class without a ror4 and gene though, and since those come near the end of a solo journey it can be tedious to have to play well as you solo every week without them. you could also opt for a krrr ring if you wanted to be lazy, but it would be a damage loss for me personally these things don't matter, i just like NL more as a class. first i'd say pick whichever you enjoy more cuz that's always more important than damage, but if you enjoy them both similarly i'd say go with shadower.

abnormal status resist. i'm not sure if it actually helped in this instance and I didn't really give it too much thought but basically "+21 att and stuns don't last as long" seemed nicer to me than a bit more damage with unfair advantage or something

i'm pretty sure all balance patches in GMS have been 1:1 from KMS (excluding non-KMS classes). there is technically a chance that we'll start to get unique balance patches with the precedence set by GO WEST!, but imo that's unlikely

depends on what you'd be replacing for it. i did a bit of testing and for me the totaling 3 is better than my 17* 2L reinforced ring in a 6 minute BA, but not by too much. i went from 119.4bil/sec to 124bil/sec with green pot (~4% increase). honestly almost not worth using for the hassle of an extra key press lmao but i figured i might as well get used to it because i'll have a good ring eventually

as far as i know final damage isn't really a stat you can increase. for the most part classes just have it as part of their kit and it can vary greatly for each class. classes like mercedes and hero get a lot of final damage from stacking passives, where night lord just gets flat fd from its passives and that's that. there's some burst buffs that give fd, such as last resort for thieves. there's also the reboot passive which gives final damage, but all classes will have that in reboot. outside of these sources, i don't think there's a way to permanently increase final damage

It is pretty bad but you can slow them down with Frailty Curse which makes it a bit easier

it's called Combo Key. you assign it in key bindings (it's a red key) and then you can press Combo Key + numbers 1-0 to activate the skills. you can set the numbers by clicking Combo Key at the bottom left of the key bindings window

I'm actually pretty satisfied with it, but I think part of that is because I don't have a ror yet. The origin doesn't do a lot of damage on the initial cast but it lasts 60 seconds, so I just see it as a supplementary damage buff to spread throw (Throwing Star Barrage) while also letting me safely finish buffing while the boss is binded. I feel like night lord does enough damage in its 5th job burst to not need another massive burst skill in its origin. As of right now the origin is a decent part of my 40sec BA (~5% iirc), but I imagine that'll drop off once I get a ror. Basically I just see it as extra damage in the 40 seconds after my main burst, which I don't mind. The utility is also nice. It doesn't help much in cernium mobbing but I imagine as maps get bigger it'll have more value. It's also very nice for the whale in pno, which I stopped doing because it was getting too annoying lol Quad throw was also an ideal first mastery core, and while it doesn't buff spread throw the extra damage and actual multi-target (even though it's only 1/4 of casts) is appreciated. We'll also be getting a big buff to marks in the DREAMER update in 6 months, which if it makes it out of KMST unscathed should be amazing!
