@@shadowopsairman1583 my dad had a 77 that he rebuilt in the mid 80s... literally rebuilt the mechanicals, then fixed the body and gave it a nice paint job. My mom redid the interior. I was bummed when he sold it, but we were moving out of state and couldn't take everything with us. He had a restored 66 4-4-2 that he also sold for the same reason.

When I was 12 it got swapped over to a automatic, dad and I did it, and then later my dad picked up an 84 sold the 76 to my cousin and my cousin at the time being a drunk dumbass wrapped the truck around the tree and left it when the engine could have been pulled and put in the 84 which had a 305

​@@bluecollarhotrods9781 yeah I consider and I had a 03 Sierra Standardbed standard cab, 43 and I only had it from 2006 to 2012 because I rolled it 6x , walked away from it what's some cuts and bruises, it is why I have this 2007 and why i resurrected it

@@shadowopsairman1583 I totaled my 2000 RCSB, walked away unharmed. 75-80 MPH hit. That truck saved my life.

@@_N4VE_ how is it a common mistake if it's rusted and fused together? I've replaced the control arms in my other trucks with no problems - they were all trucks from the south, not the rust belt like this one.

@@bluecollarhotrods9781 well its common because even without rust, many don't know that the Bolt side does not/should not be loosened or even have to put a socket or anything on it. Only the Nut end is meant to be touched when loosening. i've had friends break the bolt because of this. most people (including myself) don't usually guess that the Bolt end is locked in place and shouldn't be loosened lol

@@Ralf1NATOR that's one of the things I intend to change. 😄 I want it all the Dark Shadow Gray. (Ford color) It was originally pewter like my truck.

@@briankissel7661 Gen 6 Camaros have an traditional OHV LT1 V8 engine. This car had a larger than factory camshaft with none of the VVT/AFM stuff. Obviously the exhaust had been modified as well.

@@CCAutoWorks I have a 20ft enclosed trailer in addition to the 16.5ft open trailer. I really needed a proper truck. Plus I wanted a 4WD.

@@shadowopsairman1583 relay and fuses checked, also made sure I have power going to the pump itself. I'll likely just unbolt the bed and slide it back.

​@@bluecollarhotrods9781I did the same early last year so I could go to Hartwell Georgia to get my German Shorthair Pointer Thunder after Thor passed away. I'm hoping after I drove the truck a bit my I/Ms for CAT, O2 and evap have reset to ready.

Sucks. Been there. Recently 😂. Might try the quantum pump? So far so good for me. I personally have a fuel pump access door in my bed now 😉😉

Torque converter bolts and or flywheel?

I had a converter pull out of the seat once that did something similar. Shimmed and it was fine

​​​​@@Ralf1NATOR well yesterday I let the truck warm up and it didn't do it. This morning it didn't do it either, now this afternoon after 7 hrs, I let a buddy hear it, and the clunkiness was present, it's in the drive line, in rhythm with the cam lopiness when transmission is in gear, as it stopped when put in neutral. It is slop, I do need to do the center bearing for the drive shaft, and probably grease my yokes. The Converter is a Circle D unit which uses a factory casing 300mm unit. I torqued that flexplate and used locktite as a surity, I may check the torque converter bolts to the flexplate (4L60E). The TC is working correctly as it did flash at 2600 RPM (2600-2800 Unit)

​@@Ralf1NATORabout shims, the tc came with 2 different shim types (3 thicker, 3 thinner)

@@juantovar7730 if you are getting that message on the dash and the oil isn't dirty - it just needs to be reset. You can do that by turning the key to the on position. (Don't start the truck) When the message pops up, press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times quickly. On the 3rd time, hold it to the floor. The message center should flash and clear. When it does that, let off of the pedal and turn the key off. Then cycle the key back to the ON position. That should clear the error message.

Long holiday weekend incoming... if I can't get the broken bolts out - I have another converter.

@@Ralf1NATOR if not, my backup plan may work out even better. This FTI is only a 3200, that B&M is a 3400-3800 😎 Peak TQ arrives at 4300 rpm, so the looser converter might not be a bad thing. Guess I should have just went with that one from the start. 🤷‍♂️

@@robertmacpeek424 Go big or go home, I did both! 😄🤷‍♂️ If I can't get those broken bolts out, that loose B&M is going in it. Might be a hint that it's what I should have done in the first place. It's a 3400-3800 RPM rated stall speed. Wheeeee!

@@Clevelandsteamer324 No thanks. This truck has been reliable. It would be trouble free if I didn't modify and race it. FTI is local to me, I'll speak to them tomorrow about the hardware failure.

@@kevinroberts781 they hit everything. Not sure why it happened. Was literally causing at a steady 70 MPH when it happened. They are the bolts that were supplied with the converter.

@@shadowopsairman1583 I bought the converter second hand. It had been refreshed by FTI, and the bolts were floating around in the box. Not sure if FTI put them in there, or if the person I bought it from tossed them in there.
