#1 is SUNSHINE (even though cold weather doesn't sound good) #2 5 bases, more conservative area #3 family (but they might move in a year- blast!)

Did you say what the costs of the two homes are? Really beautiful- I like the bigger windows and the kitchen counter is gorgeous in the basement as well.

I love Colorado Springs been visiting since 1988.

Honest COS review: Keep in mind that "winter" is 7 months of the year. There is not 4-seasons. Fall is maybe 2-weeks and spring is also a blink. If gardening is something you enjoy at all, do not consider COS. Nothing lush about this town. Very dry and unkept. The majority of homes do not have grass at all. Did you mention your electric bill those 7 mos. of winter? Everyone complains about how difficult it is to make friends here. People of all ages and lengths of time that have lived here. Very military community and folks keep to themselves. There is a true hate for folks not from here and they are proud of it. Very sad.

Bond was approved to fully rebuild Air Academy High School. It will take a few years to design and build but will be amazing when complete. Air Academy High does not have a pool but most of the swim, dive and water polo kids end up practicing at the Air Force Academy pool, which is cool.

Village High School has the largest waiting list across the D20 high schools.

You are giving me a lot to think about in the details that can really improve a home.

A lot of the kitchens in Colorado Springs need some TLC, in my opinion. There's also some odd walls that don't allow open floor plan feel that the new builds offer.. The home in this video is so nice! :)

As a Miami native and survivor of many hurricanes including Hurricane Andrew in 92’, I am so looking forward to different headaches and drama. Loosing power for a month and constant watching the tropics and all the damages related to the insane weather in Florida is costly and depressing! BTW I have been in forest fire areas in Florida when I was in Gainesville; we also had tornados, horrible lightning storms and hail storms. Florida has it all and hurricanes to keep things spicy!! COS 2025, here we come… ❤

We were looking for land for a couple years all over the country. Went to Colorado Springs to visit a museum and left Dallas in the summer at 110 degrees with high humidity. We got off the plane and were like what the heck its 89 degrees here but no sweat!!!! Came back a couple times to check it out and were sold and now we are 30 days away from finishing our house build in Colorado Springs. You are correct on the snow it is amazing how fast is burns off even when below freezing. The bug stuff is true also we have security cameras on our house in Dallas and Colorado Springs. The Camera's in Dallas are always tripping motion at night due to bugs being attracted to the IR and red light on the cameras. Fills up sim card in 24 hours. Camera in Colorado Springs never trips off more than a few times a day for false alarms mostly birds and never comes close to ever coming close to filling up sim card memory. You cannot beat the weather in COS.

Can I wear shorts year round. I don’t own pants

My experience in the west is there is a lot of wind. It looks windy in CS? Is it usual or seasonal or???
