In der DDR gab es noch solche Schuhmacher. Es roch im Laden immer so gut nach Leim und Leder. Ich war in Leipzig und Dresden oft beim Schuhmacher (nicht Schuster)

You are skilled for sure, and you are definitely quite capable. Overall, this is well done workmanship. HOWEVER... you keep your workstation / area sloppy. This badly affects the end-result of your hard work. To avoid the stains and dingy look of the Blue satin shoes, you should : 1. Keep a damp cloth next to you for wiping your hands and fingers EACH TIME that you handle the sticky glue. 2. Use the damp cloth (or a second damp cloth) to wipe off the surface of the desk or table AT ALL TIMES, to remove sticky glue deposits and to remove bits of string and pieces of cloth after you cut with scissors. Doing just those 2 steps will bring your level of professionalism and expertise to a higher standard. 💎Your skill and technique is already impressive. You only need to raise the bar on cleanliness and neatness. ALL THE BEST TO YOU, Sir 🌷🌹👏🏽🤲🏽

I know a lot of you liked the old shoes, shows how much I’m older than you. They were ugly to me! The new ones looked like beautiful slippers, not to dance in though. Still hate the square fronts 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have never had a cobbler do this kind of work, however, I never asked.🤷🏻‍♀️ I did ask one time, when I actually broke the leather covered wood heel on one of my shoes and he said he couldn’t do it. After seeing this master; he just didn’t WANT to do it. This guy has real talent and experience❣️

Это просто импровизация, такую обувь можно использовать один раз и то может быть в каком нибудь спектакле. Прочность крепления деталей подошвы, платформы, каблука не выдержит никакой нагрузки, а маркость и прочность верха это отдельная часть. Работая с клеем наверняка найдётся много ляпов которых на видео не видно.

Way back when the chisel toe first appeared, shoe maker's were converting pointed toe shoes. Whilst discussing the subject with a neighbor, her husband said he could do it. When he returned my shoes, I saw that he had chopped off the points, & hammered in three nails to close the hole.

Another outstanding transformation❣️ I remember wanting yellow high heels. Couldn’t find them. So I took a pair of my second favorite black heels and used this kind of rubbery enamel yellow paint! No lie! I wore them for years until where the bend in the front cracked. But I got my yellow heels!

I dont understand how people wear out the inside of their shoes with absolutly no sweat marks from the feet or toes and perfect lifts on the heels.
