I'm a little confused. Didn't Ashra ask God for help and try to reconcile with Him? But then He calls her and she ignores Him? And what was He calling her to do? I really love this story, but if the Savior called her, and she rejected Him by taking a certain path, does that mean she had another option? What options did she have? I only ask this because it feels like it's not that she rejected Him, but that she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. And even though that's how it feels in real life sometimes, showing how she actually did have options, even if she couldn't see them, would be a really good way to show how God does have a plan and we just need to have faith. Idk. Maybe you did show this in the story, or you will, and I've just missed it. Regardless, this is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever listened to, and it's made me cry multiple times❤

It's back, I couldn't find the full version for a bit but I'm so glad it's back. This musical is beautiful and in so many places captures the love God has for us. I am willing is what caught my eye on instagram and after watching the whole video my wife and I listen all the time. Hoping one day it can become a full/life scale musical on a stage. Hello, I'm from Chile, and this musical is the most beautiful thing I've heard in years. Simply, thank you so much for sharing it. I can't leave without mentioning how impressive Jesus' voice is-the actor is a baritone but hits a high B-flat during the healing moment. I'm a baritone too, and I always imagined Jesus could have been one... but only the Son of God could hit that high note, hahaha! Very well done!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND IT AFTER A YEAR IT'S 1ST JANUARY OF 2025 I LOVE IT

I'm kind of late and I'm not sure if you'll see this comment, but I just felt like I had to say something because this musical is legitimately incredible and I feel God's hand in it. The music is absolutely awesome and there's so much symbolism with motifs, etc etc(I'm not a pro music or literary analyst, so forgive me if what I say is inaccurate). I really like how Ashra and Aacro only sing together when they're both angry/emotionally turbulent(not to say that I like how their relationship is total dogwater, because that sucks) while Ashra and Matthias generally sing together to show how they share a true love for one another(though this ranges from joyful to sad). Ashra and Matty also had an interesting set of lines in 'The Problem' where they boy call themselves the North and the other the South. That would literally mean they're both the North, and thus they're in the same place; they just don't realize they're on the same wavelength. There's also something fascinating of how Aacro is the only one with the overall 'upbeat' style of music even when he's singing about how he's been haunted by how he got Matty's mom stoned to death for no reason. He wears this 'gleeful villain' act almost the entire musical, and it may be how he actually feels and acts. But it sort of shows that he's also wearing it as a coping mechanism, which doesn't make it any better, but as I saw someone else mention, it's part of what shows he's human. Each of the main three have a tendency to decorate themselves with circumstances they cannot change as an attempt to dull the pain of it. Specifically, if the world or their own actions has left them with seemingly no options, they will play the only role they can see themselves playing and they'll try their best to accept it without further questions. ex: Ashra becomes the 'proper daughter' or 'adulteress' when she sees no other opion, Aacro becomes the 'pleased and sadistic' villain when he sees no other option, Matty becomes the 'happily alone coppersmith' or 'worthless leper' when he sees no other option. Of course, there is a third option, and that is Christ. But I really like how you make it clear that it can be truly difficult to see that option or understand it. All three have an arc somewhat like: playing the obedient role in a religious society, breaking free of those constraints and doing what they want without concern for the society(and in the case of Matty and Ashra, rejecting God as well because they believe society to be an accurate representation of him), and eventually coming to accept that they have made mistakes and become stuck, with Christ saving them and making them anew. We aren't meant to serve society or ourselves, we're meant to serve Christ, because we often become aligned with or similar to what we serve. If we serve society, we become blined and immoral, and we lose our lives. If we serve ourselves, we become animalistic and immoral, and we lose our lives. But if we serve Christ, we become wise and self-controlled, able to act more on what is righteous, and we live. Anyway, I think I could ramble a lot about this. Like how all the characters are just so well written(I'd like to mention that Moses is incredibly realistic imo, just as a bit of an honorable mention?). They're very flawed in very human ways(ex: Ashra is just as cold to lepers as the rest of society, Aacro obviously has multiple unresolved issues and obsessively views someone who suffered the same as him as the one meant for him though that's clearly not the case and is even willing to hurt them so they can continue to suffer with him, and Matty has a bad case of 'running away without communication, the average romance anime's favorite plot device'). They get angry with God because that's how humans tend to be; 'if God is all powerful, why is he leaving a pathetic person like me in this situation? Why can't I have the answer now?' And this, coupled with the fact that Christ accepts all of them anyway, goes to show that the Lord loves all of us humans. Besides, I think the reason many people have a hard time connecting with the idea of following Christ and his character is because the media often separates him from humanity, which is ironic considering he's God in human form. But, I mean, if all the characters are clearly 2D plot devices, of course we'll register it as fiction. Here, it's still a reimagined joining of two stories from the Bible, but it certainly helps that the characters have been fleshed out. It's not a depiction of mere characters finding God, but people finding God. There are no 2D characters here, they're just people like us, and that really helps us connect to the story. And that's very important, as well as helpful. There's so much more that I'm sure I haven't mentioned, but this is a TH-cam comment, not a book (ToT). The music is, again absolutely awesome. I can't imagine the amount of effort and time that went into this. speculation(maybe it's obvious and I'm just a tad slow): Aacro sent the man with leprosy at the market to touch Matty on purpose? Either that or Aacro just vaguely knew Ashra and Matty would have troubles at some point and he'd take advantage of it, and the man at the market was trying to make someone suffer as he had without any other intention of, idk, earning money for a job. And a mini side note: I love writing stories and I have a difficult time trying to figure out how to integrate the character of Christ into my stories for multiple reasons(like, if you write Christ performing a miracle, it's a bit odd because technically you wrote it so even though he does perform miracles, this one isn't very convincing because it's obviously the writer writing it.....rambles for 60 years). Because of this, I didn't really think of adding Christ into my writing much at all, since I just...(don't know how to, oops). But when I came across your work, I was really touched and I feel like I suddenly managed to see a new world(?) if that makes sense. Your work really made me think more about what I could do in my work for the kingdom of God and what would make him happy. Anyway, totally awesome work, and I'm excited for Young Apostles :). God was cooking when he made you fs.

HEAR ME OUT !!! This song just feels like a whole experience of meeting Jesus! Being healed is not what only mattered! It is about a transformation. More than the results (being healed), I imagined that their souls, bodies, spirits were being restored at the same time. When they thought that, Jesus only came to heal them physically, they did not know that Jesus took it all! This song also represents what it is like to pursue God! You feel like you have no right to come before him, shame surrounds you. Your sinful nature wants to overcome. But despite all of this you decided to keep coming after him no matter what. And with what left in your broken heart you desperately raised a prayer. Finally, Jesus answered, he received your invitation, your invitation into your heart. He just, needed you to come to him. Keep in mind that Jesus knew from the start what that man needed. But he waited that man prayer, cry ‘s to finally heals him (Matthew 8 v 1 to 3 / Luc 5 v 12 to 15). He is never in a rush. He waits. JESUS IS WAITING FOR YOU! Revelation 3 v 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Isaiah 55 v 6 to 7 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
