Omaha is rough. My local game has a soft 2/2. Preflop doesn't get too crazy like the 2/5 does. I think the key is getting to the flop for a decent amt. This all in stuff preflop is literally a big gamble. At least when you see the flop you can judge your hand strength better. At least that's how I see it

We played somthing similar in county - 7 card no peak baesball they called it... Get delt 7 cards . first person flips a card (7 dim).. next person has to beat that card (J spades).. next person has to beat the previous person ( 4,4 ), and so on .. If you over roll than your hands dead..

Hindsight is always 20/20. Don't be a stakes snob. The objective is finding the best game. You got stacked in a knife fight with regs, when you could have had a nice soft seat @ 1-3. Game selection. The more variants you can play well, the more opportunities to be profitable. NLHE, PLO, 5 card PLO8, and even 7 stud. No matter where you are you can always find the best game. Evolve and grow.

Cap bomb pot is the same in Champion club Houston too, I think they capped it at 200 or sthg 😆

So as you see the cap is to avoid game breaking. If you leave it uncapped and let's say there's 15000 on the 2-5 game your in and you scoop. If everyone leaves the game has broke. It allows players to keep playing and only loose the max buy in of the game buy cap. It's rough because you have no protection when the cap hits. The lodge did this to keep as many people playing to get there sear hourly rate fee.
