I have own at lease 4 of these s305 and the only reason I have stop using any of them is my fault sitting on them or they break in my bag cause I have something to heavy in there. The best way to control your volume is by what every you have it paired to. I almost never touch the volume button on my headphone.

Yo no hablo español, así que espero que esto se traduce correctamente .. La fijación se requiere que usted tenga "buenas" habilidades de soldadura. Sí, usted debe llevarlo a un técnico que puede soldar. Google clubes de radioaficionados en su área. Usted debe encontrar a alguien para hacerlo de forma gratuita.

It seems to be a common problem with this type of surface mount switches. I have seen the problem on other devices.

Maybe I should do a video on SMT soldering. I am not sure how detailed a video would be with a xoom for a carmera.

@aredman314 I suspect it will. You might shake it and see if you can hear the switch floatiing around.

I had the exact same problem. Motorola shoud fix the issues with the Volume Up button.

@aredman314 These type of switches usually can be resoldered. I recommend a very fine tip 15 watt pencil and some flux. A microscope would be handy.
