Hey man i have a ute, i think in the usa u call it a truck. It has a cylindrical aluminium ladder rack. Is it okay to drill holes through them as you did, people tell me you shouldnt drill through it, are they just hating cos they have a product to sell, otherwise i will screw some uni strut into the ladder rack but your method looks nicer

1. You can connect them to the same discharge pipe? I always wondered why not but everyone says not to. Not sure why its a problem(non plumber here) as because the whole point is to just have a back up for the malfunctioning pump that's no longer working. 2. what are those metal rods that so nicely hole things in place specifically called so I can order thanks. Again non plumber and not a super handy guy but a home owner and having to learn this stuff...paying someone cost my first child now a days lol thanks.
