How to get that pedals telemetry?

Safety racing is kind of a weird thing everyone gets obsessed with grinding - maintain an acceptable safety rating, sure but grinding iRating will feel much better and let you keep racing the same cars. Made the same journey you did over a year ago and I still am just driving the GR86, the Ferrari (new one now, the old one was free...) and some occasional GT4 and I still suck at GT4, getting better with the Ferrari every time and I am often winning GR86 races. Keep it up!

My first time getting a wheel I jumped into ACC and decided to do a few laps to see how it felt. I chose the bmw on the because i like German cars and could not stay on the course for the life of me. I tried again in the Lamborghini and it drove like a dream in comparison but i was still so damn slow. Ill just stick to dirt rally 2.0 for a while until i get more of a hang of everything lmao

You should do some touge stuff, also your videos are a bit slow paced, I'm not sure if its because of the editing or you not having enough to say but the pauses are to long in between some of the things you say, I think (not sure) that you might be wanting to show a whole clip and say certain things but when you don't have enough to say to fill the whole clip you just add pauses, you need to work on cutting some things shorter and having a bit more visual interest as well, it doesn't have to be a mr beast video but some channels to look at if you don't already know them are vegetable studios (Not over the top, nice cinematics, keeps retention just based off really nice looking and well put together videos), deoxide (a bit over the top for your style of video but has really good retention because of how filled there videos are), oc racing (has good story telling) and mrxbas (has really good story telling, this is just feedback off what i can see, you can of course of some different options and you don't have to take on board anything I say, this also isn't meant to be mean or personal just some feedback, nice video!

Adding the pedal and wheel cam is a very good addition these videos are also very enjoyable to watch

love the vid i have a tip for you since im an experienced drifter. i dont see u using ur handbrake enough on tight corners or when u are messing up so use ur e brake more id love to play with u some times if ur down to and keep doing this man ull get famous in no time ps LOVE THE VID

Since you are not limiting yourself to a single discipline, you should try rallycross and make a video about that too. It´s like rally made a drifting baby with a roadcourse. iRacing has rallycross that has online drivers i believe (PC2 has good rallycross but little to no online drivers). And after a rallycross video you could do a rally video. RBR from rallysimfans site is easy to setup nowadays and its free and the only real rally simulator. EA WRC is fun with better graphics but a bit more simcade than rbr.

you did great. especially for 24h. its amazing. i have some pointers if you want to read them. a couple things to think about in the future can be to use the steering wheel less when you steer. you can use the steering wheel more sparingly and just use it to slightly steer in the direction you want to go (when you're already in a drift) and steer with the gas. if for example you want to get a tighter rotation just nudge the steering wheel in that direction a tiny bit till you feel the ffb a little. then try making the gas do the job to get the car turned and vice versa for opening up corners. this will get you to not over react with the steering and make you a lot smoother in the future and not have to unlearn bad habits. another tip that can be helpful in the future is to not be off trhottle mid transition, you will find that the car will grip up and snap on you at higher speeds and grippier cars. to counteract this be on the gas (just enough to keep the slide) until you want the car to settle down and the transition is done. then come off the throttle and let the car settle and go on from there.

Dude! you mention that your voice is hard for you to listen to. I find it super soothing. Maybe I didn't hear it, but incorporating some humour in videos always helps. Even if not, this video type (walkthrough, vlog of sim racing) still works plenty! i love your dedication! keep it up!

Always fun to get out of your comfort zone. My go to driving game when I'm bored is WRC, way different than the serious people on iracing.

Invest in a vr, it's game changing now with how good the resolution are with them now, I have been sim racing with a a normal monitor since 2020 on and off and just got a VR the other week, already driving better and the experience is insane.

Started iracing a few weeks ago. It is a struggle!
