If you run into issues, make sure you: Upload the code to uno as shown in video without connecting nano. 1.Connect Correctly: The Uno should be connected according to the scheme shown. If you're following a video, he turned nano 180 degrees so the connection is not acording to the scheme shown. if you have this message "." you have wrong connection or turned it 180 degrees or interenet suggests wrong programmer is set. 2. It is possible you have different type of chip (processor) on the end arduino, check the label on top of atmel chip. In my case i had problem, i had ATmega328PB chip on nano board ( you can see there is B at the end that is different variant. 2.1 if that is your case in board manager install "MiniCore". Then when setting board choose option Tools>board>MiniCore>ATmega328 (or your board if different) and tools>variant>select your option (it is written on top of chip) (my case was 328PB) --> this is basically in original option processor 3.Burning the Bootloader as shown in video. And install the CH340G/CH341SER driver again. 4. when uplaoding code you will need to use settings you were setting for nano when burning bootloader so : Tools>board>MiniCore>ATmega328 and tools>variant>select your option Hope this helps. I accidentally erased the ATmega328P on my Arduino earlier I was scanning the chip in my tl866 and blanked it oops...half a day later of trial and error I managed to get the bootloader back on and my program running again I use my Arduino to reprogram keys in arcade PCBs. You can use the Tl866ii plus to program these it does them very well, I managed to fork a bootloader (optiboot_atmega328.hex) from the Arduino program files and reprogrammed the chip, my headache was it just didn't work when I put it back in the Arduino the problem turned out to be incorrect fuse bits configuration, luckily I found a very helpful page on the correct settings for the ATmega328p and it programmed fine my Uno works, the Arduino software began to write my program, before it would fail when it came to uploading and exit with a code of no bootloader found, glad to of fixed it as I didn't want to buy another unit mine is a genuine one and cost me a bit of money and it was a minefield trying to find a genuine one. If you have a tl866ii plus programmer you can program the bootloader onto the ATmega328P chip, the page below is very helpful on how to do that and it also shows what fuse bits configuration you need to successfully program this to work with the Arduino Uno www.dmcmillan.co.uk/blog/burning-the-arduino-bootloader-to-an-atmega328-with-a-tl866ii

This is very clever use of junk. However, I'd expect you will find a lot more jet or laser printers for free that have much faster more robust components. I'm thinking you have another video doing that I just have not seen it yet.... lol

Hi, The wiring to the icsp header on the nano to be programmed is backward to the wiring diagram shown in this video. This is very confusing. I have watched a number of video's and they seam to wire the ICSP either way. Which is correct?

I can't stand the CH340 IC. Too many problems and I'm sick of it. I'm waiting for the FTDI module to get to me to try again so I can have the 'positive outcome. What does it mean when all the smd leds are on on my UNO? I thought of desoldering the reset button (I think that is the problem ............) and resetting it through the pins : RST and gnd with a button.

I need help with something that should be stupidly simple, but for some reason can't get it to work like I want it due to technical difficulties like failed installation or buggy prompts. If you or anyone reading this comment can help me with this simple task I've listed the things that I'd like to do as well as a description explaining more below. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to even read this, let alone offer assistance. I want to make a simple FNF 'Character dancing' "game" where my character just dances to the buttons I press. I don't want any fancy music or backgrounds or sounds that need to play, I literally just want it to like replace the current PNG of my character with a new one when I press a button to make them dance so I can ghost tap to songs on TH-cam and make my character dance to literally any song without having to mod them into the game with their confusing ass setup. I don't know literally anything about Python and am having some difficulties getting it to work, I was wondering if I could just ask you how you did a few of the steps and if I could use the code to make my own private 'dancer' game so I can make my character dance. The things that my character has or requires are the following basic things and idk how to set them up because I'm dumb: 2 idle png's that swap with the beat of a song (probably also a BPM input that changes the rate at which he bobs his head so I can alter the timing a little) 4 arrow png's (one for each arrow, no secondary 'transition' or 'hold' animations, probably with a half to 0.7 second delay after releasing the key before it switches back to idle to avoid jittering between hitting different keys when it shifts immediately back to idle too fast.) That's pretty much it. I just need a BMP editor to change the speed of idle, an alternating idle that swaps between 1 of 2 PNGs to the beat that is set/applied, and the corresponding ability to use arrow keys to make him dance, with a slight delay upon letting go. Optionally if anyone decides to help me make this or outright tells me how to do it properly, I'd also like the ability to either set a keybind to alter the keys pressed, or just set the keys by default to be: < = A v = D ^ = 5 (Numpad) > = 6 (Numpad) (Don't ask why I have my keys so spread apart, idk why, that's just what feels most comfortable to me.) If by chance someone could tell me how to code this or provide me some basic tutorial to follow that would be amazing. I don't need any fancy bells and whistles, literally just the ability to make him dance, that's it. I don't need BG's, vocals, music, or even arrow prompts to make him do the cool dancing poses, just a character bobbing their head back and forth that moves to 1 of 4 positions when I press a directional key.
