Hey Rino… that’s annoying. Are you on Xbox? Sounds like it could be a memory issue. Try deleting your rolling cache, disabling it then re-enabling it, suggest 8gb of cache. Then load into an airport that just has standard scenery, no add ons to see if that gets it working. Failing that it might be worth uninstalling the plane then doing a fresh install. Yep I’m on Xbox. Are you using your pilot ID number rather than your username?

@seven3simmer I have actually tried both. It is the 6 digit number right?

I think you also need to input your username into the fmc via one of the data options if I’m not mistaken. If I remember I had to put my digit pilot id into the tablet. Then my username into the fmc and I could then uplink data to and from plane/tablet

@@chevellerocks1 I’ve just double checked as I have the sim open, if you click the MCDU MENU then ATSU… you should be able to enter you pilot id into the top right. Hope this helps bud

you have to type using the tablet keyboard, and not your xbox one that appears on the screen.

You need to make sure your Nav Radio is tuned to the correct frequency. Although I rarely use the in game ATC as it’s really bad.

i got the ap to work with MCDU for the first time using simbrief thank you so so much. the reason for this is because of your in depth way of showing exactly how it is done. must say some other simmers are not this accurate. i see you have excellent camera angles and you are on xbox. do you have a video showing exactly how you set up these cameras for xbox

Hey TJ, cheers man. So I’m currently on Xbox so I literally have NOTHING turned on, no live traffic, no multiplayer, just the LVFR Statics add on for a bit of life around the airports. Although I’m coming over from the dark side and have ordered a decent spec PC so I’ll see how I get on with that. Thanks for watching as always, much appreciated ✈️👊

Hi… that sucks. Just double check you’re flight plan is all loaded and all altitude / speed constraints are showing correctly in the FMS, then once you’re in managed mode you should get the white arrow for top of descent. Then you need to make sure you’ve entered your lowest altitude (say 5000 ft) & click the altitude knob a couple of miles before top of descent… then the plane should descend all the way to 5000 following any constraints in the FMS. @@seven3simmerdid exactly this and would not iniciate descent.I had to click the knob down to decend and manage the speed manually.Landed perfectly though.I think there is a bug in somewhere needs patch..never see any pink alitude in the pfd nor the plane automatically sticks to the constraints

Hey, thanks for your question. If you’re doing a standard flaps 3 landing I normally go to flaps 1 at 10 miles, flaps 2 & Gear Down at 6 miles and then flaps 3 at 4 miles where you need to also be at your VREF speed for landing. If you’re missing the glide slope you need to make sure you’ve engaged the approach mode button so the plane captures the ILS correctly. You really need to use charts to get all the altitude constraints for your descent, I use navigraph which is a subscription service. Hope this helps, thanks for watching much appreciated 👍✈️

Hey, thanks! You need to add your Simbrief username into the settings section of the flight tablet. Then once you’ve generated a flight plan in Simbrief it’ll pull directly into the tablet. From there you can also import it into the FMS as I do in the video. Hope this helps, happy simming 👍✈️

Hey Ryan… on the charts the VOR is shown as a round circle that looks a bit like a compass - then it has a rectangular box with a line pointing to the VOR with the 3 letter identifier code and the frequency. In this example if I remember I tuned to the Kerkira (KRK) 114.7 Hope this helps. Cheers for watching ✈️👊

Hey thanks for your message… that’s annoying the autopilot is giving you trouble. It could be a number of things but just go through your setup and make sure you’ve gone through all the steps, ensure your SID is correctly input and you’ve set all your performance data in the FMS for take off. With regards to steering on the ground that’s how rudders work - in the opposite direction to what you’d expect. If you wanted to switch it to work the other way just go into your controller settings and reverse the rudder axis. Thanks for watching and happy simming 👍✈️

Hi, thanks for your question. If you look towards the top right of your Simbrief flight plan (I know it’s a bit dark to see on my vid) there’s a block of data and the Cost Index is the top figure… it’ll say something like CI 31. Hope this helps… thanks for watching and commenting 👊✈️

That sucks man, just double check you have generated your flight plan in Simbrief, then look in the settings on the flight tablet to check your Simbrief account is linked. Then you need to hit the import Simbrief button on the flight tablet. Hopefully then the init request in the FMS should work fine. Thanks for watching and good luck 👍✈️

Hi… I’ve had that previously. It’s not a bug, you need to service your hydraulics. Go into the maintenance menu in the FMC and click the service hydraulics button, you might as well service the other options like oil etc too. Then just double check your hydraulics are all turned on in the overhead panel and you should be golden. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

I have The Flow Essentials toolbar, LVFR Static Airport Traffic and then for this video I’ve installed the drzewiecki design Narita international scenery which is pretty complex. Hi, thanks for your question. I have the LVFR Static Aircraft add on installed which puts various aircraft / liveries dotted around the stands to match with wherever you are in the world which is cool and adds a bit more immersion rather than the default MSFS planes. What I would say is if you fly with multiplayer or real world traffic on it can be annoying as sometimes they’ll park on top of the statics. Apart from that I’d recommend, no noticeable hit on performance. Thanks for watching ✈️👊

Hi Ryan… that will be because the AIRAC is currently out of date in the 737. I know this will be fixed in a future update but we’ll just have to wait unfortunately - you should be able to select a similar SID and that will work ok - it might just have a slightly different number at the end. 👍

Hey thanks for your question. As I’m on Xbox I’m fairly limited to the add ons I can use. I just use the default MSFS weather which in my opinion is superb. I have flow essentials & LVFR Static traffic to give the airports a more immersive feel. Then I do have a lot of sceneries installed because the default airports are just rubbish! I also have all the world updates installed. Although I switch off real time traffic & multiplayer servers as the Xbox really struggles with that. I’ve also recently been experimenting with 8gb rolling cache as apparently this now helps with stability. Thanks for watching & happy simming 👍✈️
