Hole in the sole = TRASH ?? | Fratelli Rossetti
Today I'm going to repair these Fratelli Rossetti shoes. The customer has worn out the entire leather sole to the point of making a hole in it! The ideal is not to wear out your shoes so much, but it is still repairable! When disassembling the sole, I was surprised to see that there was no cork under the sole!
My son finished the repair and shined the shoes.
Thanks for watching the video! Thanks for all the support!

The sole is NOT STITCHED! Shoe repair in blake assembly | leather care and shoe shine
มุมมอง 13K2 ปีที่แล้ว
It's a low priced pair of shoes that I'm fixing today. The rubber of the sole was starting to have holes and more importantly, the sole no longer held to the shoe. Unfortunately, the sole was not sewn, which is quite common for low-budget shoes. However, I did the repair like any pair of shoes! A leather/rubber sole suited the style of the shoe well and I sewed it with Blake stitches. I also sh...

I received at the workshop a pair of Berluti boots to repair. The Shoes are already a few years old and the leather has some damage. A very pronounced crease is on the tip of the shoe, the owner of the shoes wanted to return to the original shape of these boots. So I proceeded to completely disassemble the shoe to reinforce the weak points and resole them. New Berluti boots are worth around $25...
Can Louboutin's RED SOLES last LONGER?
มุมมอง 2.3K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The red soles of Christian Louboutin shoes are gorgeous! The only problem is that it does not last very long. Today I am going to restore these Louboutin shoes. I will place red soles with a shiny mirror finish. The advantage of these soles is that they are red throughout the thickness of the sole! This is ideal for the red appearance to last as long as possible! If you liked my work, you can l...
The sole that brings shoes BACK to LIFE ! Full sole repair and suede boots care

At the workshop today we have this pair of suede boots to repair! The outsole is very worn and the suede has lost all its color and has stains. They were supposed to end in the TRASH! Complete resole GoodYear Welted shoes.
มุมมอง 15K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Today, I will work on those leather shoes. The shoes already had been repaired with an half leather sole. I disassembled the old sole to replace the old cork and put back a complete leather sole. Under the heel, I sewed the shoe 270° wide with a GoodYear seam. The metal tips embedded in the sole will considerably increase the longevity of the sole. If you liked my work, you can like the video a...
You don’t use cork filler paste, why ?
Прекрасно
For a 2000 EUR shoe, this shoe was very badly cared for. great job in restoring them. What is your take between Berluti's Blake stick construction vs a more sturdier Good year welted shoe ?
How much would this cost ?
gran bel lavoro .grazie per dimostrazione della spola e del la rotella per la guida filo
For those wondering what products this gentleman used... I am just another viewer interested in bringing the luster back to a pair of patent leather shoes. I paused the video a couple times to view the products. The first product for outer clean and shine I believe was Saphir Reno Mat. I was just about to purchase Saphir Vernis Rife Patent Leather Cleaner, but see this Reno Mat may work just as well, so why purchase the just patent cleaner, when, I would think, the Reno Mat to be more of an all-purpose leather cleaner? Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention "Stories of a Cobbler"! The second product for cleaning the inside of shoes was Avel Savon Cuir Lisse Leather Soap (Avel Regenerating Soap). Hope this helps! What a wonderful video! Can't believe what a beautiful job you did restoring these vintage lovely shoes! Amazing!

What if the leather feels sticky
My local cobbler unfortunately said he can't do goodyear welt replacement, very cool to see the process though.
Very good job ! Fratelli Rossetti is a well known and expensive shoes manufacturer . I can only say that they look like brand new !
What product are you using to clean the outside?
What did you use to polish and clean the patent leather?
The uppers look like garbage. Why didn’t you use saddle soap and wash them good? Then use the light sandpaper to The uppers look like garbage. Why didn’t you use? Use saddle soap and wash them good. Then use the light sandpaper a rough out the ripped spots. then add the color back in, and then polish? You literally polished over the dirt! Now he has new souls which are gonna last a few years, but old faded, scratched, ripped, polished uppers
Which products did you use to polish the outside and to clean the i side can you share the names? Hard to read from the video thanks
Hi how to give u my shoes to repair sir
Complimenti, bravissimo 😀
Finition Is Wonderful.Great Job Champ 👍
nice craftsmanship bro
We need more women shoes restauration
Shoes like that are not worth repairing. The guy could buy new shoes for less than the repair cost.
People upgrade stuff all the time like better tires and wheels on their cars or a custom made or tailored suit. Why do you feel the need to make yourself sound like a fool ? You must not like quality shoes and shop at cheap discount stores for $10.00 plastic throw away shoes. Just because your finances can't measure up to this standard is now reason to spew nonsense to make yourself sound like you know quality when obviously ( by your coment) you don't. This customer probably paid $175 or more for those shoes and their leather and fit him nicely and are broken in to mold to his feet so upgrading them is of great benefit to him. If you have never enjoyed quality things and always buy throw away cheap plastic shoes how would you ever know the benifits that an experienced cobbler can do for you? Maybe some day you too will be able to afford that luxury but for now we excuse your ignorance and lack of knowledge regarding quality shoes and craftsmanship.
*Well said! I hate when people easily say that without considering the customer at all. Also, sentimental value is also super common with their shoes. I know I'd want to extend the life of my shoes too. It doesn't sound like this guy has ever been to a cobbler. Anyway, thanks for your great comment! I wish more people were understanding like you!*
Do you use Cologne glue?
well done, nice catch-up, but I think the shoes are very damaged👌👍
I am amazed to see this perfect resoling. these Italian shoes will regain their youth bravo et merci
Bravissimo
What’s the cost of a new sole
Where are you based
What patent leather cleaner are you using?
Great video, thanks for sharing. Can I ask if your polishing cloth is impregnated with something, or is just a plain cloth?
Beautiful job😮
Incredible video. Thank you for taking the time to share your craft, much appreciated!
How much would that cost?
Good job
All women should take note that their ready to wear shoes are all glue construction. As a rule, you should have these sacrificial soles applied to your shoes when new and replaced immediately when they wear through. That is, if you want to preserve your investment; because once the outsole is worn through, it cannot be replaced.
Good job 👍
Good job 👍
Great work but for a company like burluti to use a stick on welt is cheap to say the least
Amazing work
Unbelievable 😂😂
Where is Your Shop?
Where r u?
How did she react when she saw them again? She must have been happy to have a pair of shiny "new" shoes to wear.
How much was that job$$$
Extremely beautiful job God bles you.
Just found your channel, and I'm amazed at your dedication and craftsmanship. Most cobblers wouldn't touch this, but you restored it so well, without masking the distinct features and patina. I'm staying for good! Cheers!

I'm assuming you have a business? Where are you located?
Hello again! I had recently written in the comment section in one of your other videos about your Kabi glue gun. I recently purchased a similar gun pump but different brand and was just about to use it for the first time, but for some reason, no glue is coming out. Not sure who else to ask, and any videos or info on similar products are actually hard to find so I thought I'd ask you again. I had filled the canister with some glue, halfway I think, and it was sitting for a few days (fully closed of course). I just grabbed it to use it for the first time ever, and I tried to pump some glue out but the glue never came out. It was not pumping it up and there was no resistance to the trigger other than the attached spring. Inside, there is a metal ball at the bottom of the mechanism and it stays there, not sure how exactly it is supposed to sit or if pumping the gun is supposed to lift it up. Any ideas as to what may have happened?
