Pokemon Platinum Battle Tower - Battle 100
PI Ralph just had to be battle 100, that beginning was crazy. I have finally completed my trainer card on my original Platinum save file. Then after this I shall tackle the Battle Hall and Battle Factory coloured symbols to have all 5.

I recorded this (to the best of my ability) for archiving purposes via CuteDSCapture and using the mic port for capturing audio. Apologies if the audio sucks big time. This battle was done when I did not know how to EV train, IV stuff etc. so I was very proud as a kid.

A much more solid run, still need improvements on deep amazon and many minor improvements, but overall happy with my progress! Used PCSX2 version Nightly 1.7.4697 with a Dualsense controller via Bluetooth. Recorded with obs-studio. Game run at 60hz setting.

This run had a few bumpy rides but I needed times to compare to the new strats, and finally got a decent run. Apologies for the PCSX2 toolbar I was meant to play in fullscreen! The new strat involves no backtracking and obtaining 30 minicons to enter Cybertron immediately as well as at the very beginning enable a glitch to teleport between warp gates. Solid run... apart from Pacific Island. That was very bad. Definitely can get some more small optimizations too nearly everywhere. Used PCSX2 version Nightly 1.7.3546 with a Dualsense controller. Recorded with obs-studio. Game run at 60hz setting.

My first video on the anarchy server 2b2t. A very chill one exploring one of the many Ocean Monuments I find while traversing the spawn region. In 1.8 Mojang added the ability for underwater temples to spawn in loaded chunks, or land that had loaded before the 1.8 update resulting in this. Like, comment and subscribe! The wings don’t work for me they just veer away from every ledge when I come close to landing
Having watched your run from 22.11.2022 and this one back to back really shows the progress in strategies as well as your improvement in terms of execution. It was a real pleasure seeing you ripping the game apart. I can follow almost all tricks shown in both videos, the only one which I need some clarification on is the teleportation in Level 1. I *assume* that you somehow trick the game into activating the warp menu as well as the tutorial message, therefore granting you movement whilst keeping the text stored. Based on your position on the map you can teleport yourself to the nearest warp gate available by repeating the instruction. My questions would be as followed: - how exactly does the activation process for text storage go? - what were to happen if you would proceed to the next level whilst keeping text storage active? PS: I don't have the manual so I would like to know exactly what each Minicon Team Combo actually does if it isn't too much trouble telling me. Best regards

How do you get the game to run so smoothly? When I used pcsx2 it sucks. I saw before that you said you followed the instructions in a discord server. Do you have links to the server?

That Tidal Wave strategy is fascinating! Nice run!
The strategy used to gain height is called Infinite Glide Up or IGU. You basically fly up to gain height, transform and immediately press the button to glide again. It resets your momentum for gliding and you can repeat.

Whats your PC Specs? Ive been trying to run this game on my AMD PC for years with no luck.
I suggest checking what PCSX2 version you're using mostly. I recommend running the latest (I currently have 1.7.4618) as the latest PCSX2 version fixes most graphical errors.

@@jaro137 I didn't use cheats when I played this game but not gonna lie, Tidel Wave is possibly the hardest boss to fight. Bro was literally Godzilla Size.
Especially the part where you get to a good height to shoot his head then he proceeds to PUNCH THE GODDAMN ROCK YOUR STANDING ON

In the Atlantic scene, what do you press/do to make your glider fly so high?
It sounds like the transformation button, since you’re gliding that’s probably why he doesn’t transform
Infinite Glide Up (IGU)! You can transform out of the glider, and you can use the glider to cancel the transformation animation, so by pulling up on the glider and pressing the buttons quickly enough, you reset your momentum and can glide at full starting speed again. Rinse and repeat for as much height as you desire!
