I would love it if we got a patch note saying the DSS pilots were panicking because of the jet brigade so they started bombing the entire planet without regard for the helldivers. And that they've been disciplined.

I'm still gonna enjoy the game. Even if the DSS was overhyped the game is still fun.

The Plasma Punishers' ability to land hits while running and gunning is what I think truly makes it great for bots. Because close enough is good enough for the PP you can shoot while constantly moving.

Jet Brigade? Pack your LAS-7 Dagger! You only have to touch that backpack with the beam, and the jumpy bastards explode. You can switch from your primary after one jumps, and still have plenty of time to get your line on it mid-flight.

What's crazy to me is that Warhammer will be getting a third enemy type before HD.

Love the Plasma shotty for bots, I think anything with effective stun lock is the key for bots. Give them some of their own flinch lock medicine 😂

The parry auspex scan is absolutely cracked. And it makes it so you don't have to rely on auspex cooldown being supplemented. Fighting hive tyrant, parry and he's auspexed. Lichter, parry, auspexed. Chaos terminator, parry, auspexed. Its super nice.

Dude your perk choices make very little sense. You’re using perks that rely on fully expending Iron Halo and keeping it on cooldown, yet you’re selecting perks that increase its duration.

What jarrred me when leveling up Assault and the Thunder Hammer was the reverse progression when it comes to speed. I'd already seen all the comments "Assault Bad" "Thunder Hammer too slow" etc but was totally enamored with it and even carrying level 22-25s (getting 14-18k melee damage with GREEN tier weapon, so good) when I was just 5-7 clearing Average to get out of green tier weapons. Then I went to purple tier....and the speed goes from 5+ to 0+. WTF? Every other weapon I've leveled up gets better over time, either all base stats stay similar with only damage going up or all get incrementally better over time. Going from 5+ speed to 0+ was very jarring. I was loving the infinite light combo to clear trash just like the power stance on power sword but with the 0 speed i was taking so much more damage doing that. Going to Relic Tier finally does recover a huge chunk of that speed but it is still slower than the green tier fencing weapon. I still think the class is way better than people say, I think many are just no good at melee. Ironically I'm using this exact same build character perk wise. I know people talk about how OP Tactical is but if you're good at melee and play Tactical and melee a lot and use the GL (scan on parry perk is so good) then you will see how OP it really is.

no power sword skill layout?

i realy like this game and i already have some nice chars, but this one looks very interresting. But i dont have the 2 Jeffrey's Dagges and the crossbow i would use.

Where's the helldivers vids?

The operation changes (extra enemies and allies etc) only apply when you put private mode on. But other changes like buffed weapons changes will carry over if you do public matchmaking so it is best to play private mode on otherwise. Also the any loudout on any class will also work on public matchmaking, I dont have an issue with this if someone joins my game with a modded build, makes things more interesting. Reddit edgelords feel otherwise

No bots?

melee could be stronger imo if you are out of ammo and multiple zombies come at you , having to kill 1 zombie with 4 or more hits while having no stamina is pain
