@@imAgentR yeah, I believe that we are going to have to go with the flow, but if developers did a better job at optimizing games, we wouldn't need upscaling or frame gen just yet. They are making games so blurry at anything lower than 4k resolution and shoving TAA down our throats. TAA looks trash in motion honestly

@ ​​⁠ you’re not wrong about TAA; however, a lot of developers answer to somebody else just like you do at your job and they are given the tools in the deadline to make that happen and some suit tells them that that’s how it’s gonna be and they have a choice to make weighing a product for sale versus the integrity of their artistic endeavor. Nothing in life is black and white and making developers the enemy when they would still be the solution to the problem is not helpful for anyone. Lost in a lot of these discussions are the publishers, whose pockets are funding the development. But they continue to skirt away from the underlying issues when they are the actual ones primarily responsible for the state of gaming now.

@@imAgentR yes, that is exactly what I wanted to say, the publishers and share holders only care about deadlines and money. 20 years ago devs made games for the love of the game, and that is the reason why games became so popular in the first place

@@metabor you are most welcome brother, I'm glad you liked the video. I use the riva tuner because it's the best imo, but you can use whatever you like. Some games even have the fps lock in the menu, like cyberpunk and hogwarts legacy.

@@metabor yeah, you can use afmf or frame gen along side lossless scaling, but for a stable performance I would opt for only one. Having too many fake frames between real frames will add to your input lag, so I wouldn't overdo it.

If you lock the game to 60fps or higher, and use the x2 option, its negligible. And even if you use the x3 option in single player slow paced games, you will not notice anything. I personally found x2 and x3 to be the sweet spot and wouldn't use x4 or higher. However if you are locking your game at 30 or 40fps, it's best to stick to the x2 mode, you might feel just a tiny bit of input lag then, but that is because you are playing at sub 60fps and at that point the game is already not as responsive. You get the same response time as if you were playing at real 30 fps, but at least with this app you will get a 60fps image, so for me, it's worth it.

@@gangs0846 you're most welcome. From my understanding of the app, the only cap would be your monitor refresh rate, obviously. And as far as games go, you can use it for every game, and not only that, but for every program. I'm pretty sure it also has a setting where it can boost your fps on movies you watch on pc, which is crazy!

@@gangs0846 from 60 to 120 using it, there is a huge penalty, the higher the fps usually the lower the response, with this the fps increases but the latency increases with the fps, keep that in mind, 60-120 is a 30ms-50ms increased lag, extreme for competitive not so much except all the other issues, if it helps you get 60 use it though, but it isn't exactly lossless, Frame Generation is nice to see finally after it being experimental for over a decade.

I would strongly recommend an AMD gpu bro, my previous rig had an RX 580 and it served me so well. If you like pure horsepower when it comes to rasterization, go with an XTX, XT and GRE also work very well for 1440p gaming and they have plenty of vram. But if you want a gpu for the next 5 years, XTX is the way to go with 24gb of vram, and then just use Lossless Scaling with brand new games. I am against fake frames and upscaling, but it seems the industry is going in that direction, so I prefer to spend $7 instead of giving my kidney to Nvidia. 😂 Thanks for the comment!

@IkachuGamingTV word, thanks for the info. Yeah, man, I game at 4k, and am concerned about longevity in my 4070 Ti. I found the Mag Air XTX by XFX, and it actually fits in my case. Waiting for a little discount on it before I pull the trigger.

​@@bryank427yes brother, 12gb of vram will just not get you there at 4k rezolution. Also Mag Air looks sick, I ordered it for myself but it was sold out and I went with a Sapphire edition in the end. Mag Air one of the best looking GPUs out there for sure!

Yes, I know, I would probably need to capture the entire screen with an external camera for you guys to see the differences perfectly. That is why i was being so descriptive and I mentioned that you guys probably wont be able to see it. OBS captures it like that unfortunately...

@@IkachuGamingTV if using OBS, capture the monitor and on top of that capture lossless scaling as a game or window and it’ll catch it then with the updated fluidity. If you’re just wanting to show the numbers just use the draw feature setting in LS.

I agree bro, I am usually against this fake stuff, but since the technology is going in that direction, I'd much rather spend $7 than buy a new gpu, and this works like a dream if you can lock your fps to 60+ and use x2. I'm glad you liked the video!

I agree, the game is well above average and it's a dream come true for Harry Potter fans, the level of detail is amazing. But it is suffering from too much content and super long quests. I am enjoying the playthrough on stream, but I'm also looking forward to finishing it and starting a new game. Thanks for the comment btw!

@@IkachuGamingTVIt's a shame because the world and assets are so good. I wish they had some sort of multiplayer feature with modding so players could give the game more life. Imagine going into battles against other players or even have a proper roleplay experience like in FiveM.
