If you don't know how to transcribe an audio track properly, leave it as it is without any transcribed texts. If you want to do it, do it in a correct way. Your transcription is totally wrong and it misguides the viewers.

My apologies but he got all this wrong. David Goggins don't know how Judgement Day works. God doesn't judge you based on your achievements in life. He judges you based on your heart and knowledge. We are saved by Grace through Faith. The only way we can make it to heaven is by accepting Jesus as our lord and savior. Repent and turn our lives to Jesus. The way how David's Mindset works with this is Completely unbiblical. We are not to lean into our own Understanding of things but only rely and trust in God/The Holy Spirit. Its not necessarily about "impressing God with your achievements" its about building a strong relationship with God and giving up your life for Jesus Christ. David Goggin's way of thinking is manmade or worldly way of thinking but not a Godly way of thinking.

This is kinda dumb, If you're Saved on Judgement day then why would you care about anything you could've been in your life here on earth aside from things you could've done to build rewards in heaven? You will be given powerful glorified body and will be able to serve God in New Jerusalem, Doing things 100x more awesome than anything you could've ever done on earth. This is just him justifying his carnal obsessions with stoicism and misdirected self-denial, which you can do way more epically by just trying to live like Christ.

Great video, but there are some errors in the subtitles. For example, "true south" where in fact he says "true self".

In the past I drank heavily for social reasons and now that I have my medical card, I can't say I'm sober but I'm more introverted and focused on myself. I realized I don't need to fall prey to the once necessary human desire for acceptance and once you depend on your own validation the outside negativity and judgement that inevitably comes from others begins to lose meaning and the ability to drag you down. The human desire for acceptance was at one point an evolutionary necessity but now it is more possible than ever to become entirely independent and know yourself on an individual level rather than lose yourself by conforming to the pressures of society out of self-preservation. Everyone is responsible for their own joy, understanding, and peace and those that don't have those attributes will either knowingly or unknowingly bring others down.

What a pointless babble of a genius!

I barely drink. And even on nights out, I drink a soft drink or two between each alcohol drink, it's not good for fitness, but, with that all said I truly believe that 1: alcohol in small amounts is ok, unless you're a pro athlete. 2: if you can't stay off alcohol for a certain time to achieve your goal, be that one month, 6 months or even more than a year, if you can't say no, then you do have a problem. No matter how you see it, if you CANT stay off drink, you have a problem. Im not anti drink, but this is true.

David Goggins’s interpretation of judgement day is completely false. God’s not going to tell you all the good things you did that’s not what he does on judgement day. Neither will he tell you “you should have been this”. You are judged for all your sins on judgement day and are either sent to hell or heaven based on if you were saved or not. He only cares about what you did to glorify him and that’s what you will be rewarded on. Not your good works, not matter how many muscles you had or whatever books you made or how many people you motivated, none of that matters.

When you have the urge to drink you create a fantasy in your head that simulates a core need being met. It may temporarily give you that feeling for a few hours but it ultimately makes you become more distant from achieving it in reality.

Mr. Goggins everyman will declare His own righteousness. Let me break it to you this way. You broke out of the norm of society. Yet, God's word says there is no one righteous no not one, Romans 3:10. For all the things that you have done and accomplished all these things are like filthy rags. Now you might think that's unjust if it was brought to you in that manner, and it might manifest itself that way to you. But God's word is very clear that for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that there is no other name under Heaven by which men can be saved except at the name of Jesus. The part that is hard for him to see is that he actually is declaring his own righteousness. David goggin is not a believer. The Bible says if you believe in God you do well but even the demons believe and tremble. We're not saved by our works we're saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves lest any man boast. This is the problem with the world. The world will declare before Jesus Christ it's own righteousness and the sad reality and unfortunate Eternal destination will be the Lake of Fire. The gospel is simple Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the scriptures, he was buried in a tomb and three days later bodily Resurrected and is that the right hand of the father with all authority and power. And God commands all men everywhere to repent of their sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. If one fails to do this, the choice was yours, and in this case, for David goggins, I sure hope he understands that there's a way that seems right to a man but in the end at leads to death and his way is going to ultimately lead to death. And I don't joke about stuff like this I hope he comes to Christ. David Goggins is a very prideful man. I do believe his an honorable man and he not phony one bit, yet that still falls short of perfection. Jesus was the only one with a perfect record. That record must be applied to one's account to be justified.

Im 2 weeks into sobriety after 4/5 years of DAILY smoking. I tried quitting countless times, was literally smoking my life away until eventually I said to myself, fuck this, this isnt me, this isnt the life I want to live. Went Cold turkey, haven't looked back. I feel amazing, I feel like I just woke up from an unwanted hibernation. However I still get urges to relapse, every potential relapse is just another opportunity to grow, a chance to develop my discipline and self control. Honestly the feeling of proving yourself wrong, growing, becoming more competent at each passing moment is priceless. If you are struggling and reading this, get rid of ALL hesitation and just bite the bullet, right now! I promise it will get better. Perspective is everything!
