Very interesting concept, Sir Thanks a lot for explaining so clearly.
Thanks and welcome
Nice
Thanks
Very informative sir Thanks
Thanks for liking
Very Easy to understand Thank you very much.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for yet another illustrative video, Sir Could you answer a question please? Is there anything known as anti-commutativity and if yes, then how is it different from non-commutativity?
Anti Commutativity is when reverse relation does not hold at all. For example Less Than relation. So while 2<3 holds, 3<2 does not exist. In Non-Commutativity, the relation holds but the result is different when order of the elements are reversed. For example, subtraction. Both 2-3 and 3-2 hold but result is different. Thanks for asking.
Thanks for explaining the fundamentals
Glad it was helpful!
Nice Explanation...and very helpful...Thanks sir
It's very helpful for the students Sir
Glad to hear that
Sir does symmetry imply reflexivity in relation
No A relation may be symmetrical but not reflexive at all.
Symmetry is one of the three defining properties of an equivalence relation, along with reflexivity and transitivity. Looking forward to many more
Excellent
Thanks 👍
Welcome 👍
Thank you Sir...As usual, I learned a lot from your video. I had one question, though, if you could kindly answer. Are Symmetric and Anti-symmetric relations exactly opposite of each other in meaning ?
No they are not. In fact it is possible for a Relation to be both Symmetric as well as Antisymmetric. We will discuss in detail in one of our next videos.
@rajivk.sharda Thank you for the clarification, Sir. Eagerly waiting for the next video.
It's great to hear your voice again after so many years, Sir.
