@@smilisa. I wish I had gone into computer science. I know enough to program industrial controls and robots but, finding documentation on the enormous number of functions is too frustrating for me to program PC's.
It can be hard sometimes 😕 I thought the same when I was doing my master’s in finance and then I just started another bachelor’s in cs 😁 I don’t want to reach the point in life where I regret not going for it

God bless this post your so amazing your out living your life u are so so inspiring god bless you your a star im really struggling with everything since my accident and diagnosis and my drs are telling me everyday now that im a c2 complete quadriplegic and ill be ventilator dependent for the rest ov my life i have no feeling or movement below my chin i have no movement or feeling anywhere i have to use a sip and puff straw to move my chair and its so so hard due to my ventilator and breathing im in a non respite halo brace and have to be in a neck brace when ever im transferred to my chair and its so Hard as my sip and puff straw needs to be perfectly placed in front ov mouth for me to do anything in my chair and its just so so horrible as i cant move my head with my halo brace and neck collar and my ventilator has to be plugged into me 24.7 as im being told that this machine is breathing for me and im completly ventilator dependent i now have too and need 24.7 care and around the clock support as im being told my neck was so badly broken in my accident and im a complete quadriplegic and im completely paralysed from my neck down i feel my life is so broken i was so active i did so much but a drunk driver broke my neck and im now just so broken with everything but finding your page is so inspiring im really struggling and reaching out is helping so god bless u god bless your life and i so hope to here from u to connect

Dang, girl..... you shouldn't have been up there running around and paragliding at that age!! I can see why your mom must have been mad! I mean of course she's glad you're just alive and still here but, this is exactly why parents are soo paranoid, they don't want to ever see their kids get hurt. Anyway I'm curious, do you ever have dreams where you are walking or running again?
It was probably the happiest time in my life. I never enjoyed anything more than paragliding, thus I also don’t really have regrets nowadays, just sad it got taken from me so early on. Initially I had many dreams of me walking and running. Over time they disappears. As of now I hardly ever dream and if so, I am unable to walk. In fact, I’d forgotten how specific movements of the legs feel like.
@@smilisa. Are you always soo stubborn?! Hehe. I mean, I just feel bad that you loss the use of your legs at such a young age...... when we are young we don't think about the consequences and our minds have not yet fully developed. If I was the adult there, I would have NOT have let you paraglide...... you probably wouldn't like it but at least you'd still be walking. I mean, what's done is done but it seems like you're soo full of life and it just sucks that you can't fully use your legs anymore to enjoy other things in life.... not to mention the inconvenience of being in a wheelchair. With that said, it's not the end of the world and it's great to see that you still have such a positive outlook on life. :)
@tonykartracer8032 well, something different could have happened to me, like a car accident. You never know. If you have to play it safe you should never even be allowed to leave your house. Sure, I could be all sad right now and think of the life I could have, but at the same time, there is nothing I can do now. Telling me you would never allow me to do something like this does not change anything right now.

After that, we can take a stroll on the beach and watch the sunset together....... and you will feel the sand beneath your feet again! Until then, take care of yourself.

What are your dreams?
Uh, hard question to answer. Do you mean dreams as in sleeping? Because I hardly ever dream. Dreams in life are probably to be happy, which seems such a simple thing, but can be quite hard sometimes. Also be painfree, which I currently am 😊 and yes, having working nerves is up there as well 😂 it would make life so much easier!

Hello, thank you for your video. Quick question, how does the strap from the watch handle the friction from pushing the chair? And which strap do you think is better to not tear quickly? If the wrist tends to have high friction with the wheel?
In my case, I don't have any type of friction with pushing the chair. But thinking about friction, I'd say that maybe the Sport Loop is a good choice. I think the Solo Loop or Sport Band might not handle friction that well, it could even be in the way of pushing the chair properly 🤔

Thanks for sharing this. I did know about it, as I had a friend in high school (decades ago, for me) who was paralyzed below the waist, and she had a truck with hand controls. As you talk about, though, hers were different. If my memory is serving me well, I believe her braking was the same as yours, basically, but then that same lever could be pushed down (instead of away) to operate the accelerator (and, that was before software control, so it was physically connected to the accelerator pedal). She also had a knob on the wheel.
That might be 😊 there are many different hand controls for cars to best fit a persons disability. I am just happy that we get the option to drive around as life would be so much harder without this option

I have an injury to areas around my spinal chord that affects it. Thank you for making this video. My biggest challenge as far as pain management is that I sometimes overdo it, but don't know how much I overdid it till the next day. I sometimes push myself too much and am is a lot of pain later too. It is hard when you have things you wanna do so bad, but it's like my body betrays me. Thanks for the video. I shared to my fb. ❤

Hi, I use my wheelchair not the whole day, I can walk a bit, but if I have the watch in wheelchair mode, does he see it if I take steps instead of pushes in the wheelchair? Or do I have to turn the modus to normal instead of wheelchair?
I walk most of the time (except when at home) and I have it in wheelchair mode. It counts it as pushes and not steps. So if you want the watch to count steps you have to change to normal mode. Hope it helps 😊

Not having to rely on anyone is such a good feeling! Just make sure you are allowed to drive with hand controls 😉 in most European countries, for example, you have to get a special driving license. All the best to you! 🤗

Why dont you have to continually press the acceleration? Is it like when youre driving slow with foot pedals and you arent pressing the gas pedal? Or does it stay at whatever speed you put it at, like cruise control?
I only press the acceleration when I want to accelerate. If I am for example on the highway, I do continually press it. When I press the accelerator, there is a button that allows me to continue driving at that speed without constantly pressing the accelerator, but I rarely use it. I prefer to be in control 😉

I’m happy to have stumbled upon a detailed English review of Striplac. As you said, most of the reviews were in German. It is such a good brand. I used to own the previous version which uses a base coat and requires UV/LED lamp. I have latest version and I’m very pleased that they now just use LED lamp and they eliminated the need for a base coat! The application, lasting power, and removal has significantly improved! I am surprised why this is not much known outside of Germany/Austria. It’s so good! I just wish they’d come up with interesting colors like holos/chrones instead of just the usual cremes/shimmers/glitters. Thanks, again!

I am very boring regarding the colors, so I am satisfied with the options they offer, but I do get that some might need some more options. I hope that they will release some more in the future 😄
