hi, can anyone explain why dracaena marginata change to dracaena coloroma i need the normal one not that coloroma
@@mohammedadi4433 can u be precise?
@@EASYPLANTCARE i have dracaena marginata of color green leaves and i grown it through cutting and its been 3 month and suddenly it changed its leaves color to pink purple variegation, i have researched about it and found its botanical name as dracaena coloroma and i dont need this one cuz the green one had big leaves width and look good and the pink one look think and look like a dried broom, suggest me how can i turn it into green once again and the plant is kept under partial sunlight like its get 3 hours direct sun light and in rest time its gets partial sun
You bought coloroma variant and can't undo that. You need to buy dracaena marginata.
okay

my plant is dying, we moved to new house and in one morth+/- it started to get brown , then yellow and now shedet leaves, receive water every monday, the tip from stam feels soft, when i put my finger in soil, the soil does not stick on finger, it absorb normal the water, receive inmorning and by evening its absorbed, it is in the soil in wich i bought the potted plant, i did not changed it, now and then i put it outside in the rain (2-3 times a year) the leaves looks yellow + brown + green combined
Plants get stressed if they’re moved. They need time to recover and adapt
I changed now soil. Found out that roots are brown.smells rotten. What should i do
@sevrienplysier remove dead roots. Let soil dry.

What is black soil? Is it a name for something else?
Its standard soil.
My DM is becoming like straw. Way less green. Am going to stop giving any cool tea and give distilled water. And try more watering.

Using spent coffee grounds does NOT actually increase acidity. It’s about neutral after being brewed and the amount added wouldn’t even make a noticeable difference in soil pH. #myth
I recently repotted an extremely rootbound dracaena that probably is around 15 years old or more and the bottom layer of leaves have been falling out, i think i have maybe collected over 25 yellow leaves, im worried the the potting mix i put it in maybe holds too much water. could this be because i over watered it? or just stress from repotting? some leave in the middle of health green leaves have also become yellow. the rest of the plant looks fine though.
Hi, thanks for asking. How big is your pot? If it is too big, than it may be holding water.
How do I pop off the red part? I recently got one of these for just the dragon fruit plant. I don't care about the red part.
Why do you want to pop out it?
@@EASYPLANTCARE I don't like it. I got it just for the dragon fruit plant. To me, it's stealing all the nutrients that the dragon fruit needs and I have a very strong desire to chop off the red part 😅
@@fyrfly1152Tbf once the dragon fruit grows, it will be stealing from the red part.
@@fyrfly1152 You'd be better off buying dragon fruit seeds. The plant won't grow any taller because the growth tip has been cut off.
So informative.

Oh please don't..... They are a weed.. Takes over all the garden. You don't have to propegate, they throw babies. You should know that.?
Those aren’t pests! They’re springtails. They eat dead or decaying matter. That’s probably a sign you have root rot and are overwatering
Springtails are not a danger to people, pets, or to the structures of buildings; they are, however, an invading pest that can enter homes in large numbers and can become quite a nuisance.
Thanks
I have 2 like this but had them for like 7 years without repotting. Should I repot in a bigger one or can I have them in the same pot
Thanks for asking. Dracaena like to be root bounded. Last thing is repotting. Here is video of my that can help: Repotting Dracaena Marginata in Perfect Soil Mix th-cam.com/video/cVqz4pKzr-g/w-d-xo.html Subscribe for more video.

Nice and thanks for sharing
Can I use this soil mix for any other dranaena plants ?
Yes
Would small smooth 1/2inch glass be a problem for the spoil? I also added a layer of smooth glass gravel under the root system to help drainage... were those bad ideas? Thanks for the help!

hi hello this video was so helpful! do you have any watering tips for plants in too-big pots?
Small plants in big pots?
When I bought my dracaena it came with 3 trees grouped together. Now just 2 months later, one tree is dead, and another is slowly dying. Im pretty sure its been overwatered, just not sure if propagating the dying tree will be my best option. The leaves are falling out and becoming brown, and the bark is starting to feel a bit soft. Is this dying tree able to saved, or is propogation my only way of saving it?
Let soil dry out and than slowly start watering it
Great video, easy to understand and good visuals. Thank you for making this. My dragon tree is my first fancy indoor tree and I want to to what's best when it's time to be transferred to a new pot.

Hi, thank you for your video. I've had my plant for just under a year now and it's still in the pot/soil i bought it in. Ever since I've had it, the leaves have been drooping slowly to the point they are just drooped now. The leaves look healthy and there's no yellowing or really any brown tips. The soil dries out very quickly and when I water it and it drains straight through the soil and out. Is this normal?
Hi, when your plant is thirsty leaves are gonna drop. When u water it, leaves are gonna pop up

I just bought one of these and really had no idea what it was or how to care for it. I just like the look and felt sorry for how badly the store was treating it. I have been searching for information about what to do for it. Thank you for being concise in your informative video. I had already repotted the plant in a larger pot. I hope it won’t be upset. It was all I had at the time. I can buy another pot. I have to put together a potting mix for this type of plant but I hate to repot it again so soon.
Thanks for watching and enjoy your plant
Hello, there! I got a Darcaene shipped & the shipping got delayed... Now the leaves have dark brown spots and the leaves are turning brown.
Cut those leaves and let it recover
My dragontree has yellow soft leaves in the middle of the small new growth. They were green just 2 days ago. I bought it 3 days ago. I only mildly watered it and threw the access water away. The tips were slightly dry and brown. But now these yellow leaves in the middle are soft and a few fell off....I'm afraid it will die. Do u think i should repot it? The pot she is in looks kinda small and the roots are on the bottom and look very crowded. 🙄 I really wish to have some plants but they just keep dying for different reasons 😫
If roots are crowded you should repot but in slightly bigger pot. Because roots like be slightly tight. Plant moved 3 days ago, thats stress. You should leave it to accommodate few weeks. That you can write to me again
@@EASYPLANTCARE thanks will try that. I sometimes have a feeling the soil that the plants come with is never that good. Rhe soil i bought looks so dark and healthy and moist. But this original soil is just hard and still looks dry even if watered 😬 probably they savr money just to sell plants and then what3happens i guess 😐
Hi I have a Dracena at home. The tips are browning. I have followed everything you have mentioned but I don’t find any changes. It’s a big plant and I don’t want it to die ☹️
It takes time. How long are u waiting for changes?
Excellent video thank you!
