SBI Feedback Model Examples to Make Feedback Easier and More Effective
Imagine if feedback conversations felt easier and more productive. In this video, I introduce the SBI Feedback Model, a simple and effective framework developed by the Center for Creative Leadership to structure feedback in a clear and impactful way. SBI stands for Situation, Behavior, and Impact, guiding you to provide both positive and constructive feedback with clarity and intent.
Learn through two practical examples:
1️⃣ Positive Feedback: Recognizing and reinforcing great work.
2️⃣ Constructive Feedback: Addressing areas for improvement while fostering growth.
Discover how this framework can help you avoid vague, unhelpful feedback and instead create meaningful conversations that empower your team.

    This is an excellent summary for how to grow a positive workplace culture. Thank you Anne. My biggest takeaway is an area i haven't focused on for a long time and I need to. I need to provide more formal feedback. I heard you say there is a strong desire in most people to know how they are doing and that this leads to a coaching relationship which is where we can influence our team in a positive direction. That's my commitment, next step.

    I can only underline the importance of regular meetings. I must admit that at times I feel like cancelling the meeting as I had the impression they could not come up with topics. But it has become such a valuable time to bond and get to know each other even though we might not always talk about tough operational issues.

    • @annekoopmann
      @annekoopmann 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absoulety, I think most leaders have this feeling from time to time that they would rather cancel because they worry that they'll sit in silence, and it might be a waste of time. But it never is a waste of time. Even if you end the meeting after 15min. The importance is the reliability and the set window of time for you to talk. I find it helps sometimes to have just 1 or 2 talking points or questions prepared just in case they don't have anything to say. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
