good afternoon from philippines sir im your new subscriber i wish you more subscribers ahm 10 mil maybe i know you can
Good to see you back mate won’t be long until the muddies are running in the Redlands again 🦀🦀
Thanks mate, got some new pots on the way 👍 ready for a big feed of muddies for sure
Hadir mantap bos ku langsing strek bos ku ikan babon bos ku seaht selalu 👍 sukses selalu bos ku 👍❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey guys. Love the channel and love the boat. I stumbled across your channel looking at side consoles which may do the job I want when I can afford it. Probably watched this 1 a dozen times so far. Just curious as to why you picked seajay. I’ve had a professional welder recommend them aswell. He said he’s repaired almost every other make and seajay are by far the best. I had my eye on Anglapro of stessco but Merlin marine is no more. Last break from work I went to a few telwater dealers on the Sunshine Coast and was horrified. There’s aluminium swarf stuck in the carpet of brand new boats out in the weather. Electrical wiring looks awful and not neat by any stretch. I saw one that had orange mold in the timber and mold on the seats. Rust on trailer winch. The list goes on. Anyway just curious. These definitely look the best contender for me. Thanks heaps for the content. Hopefully one day see you guys out on the water.
@michaelbray6499 hey mate, I've always owned seajays, they definitely have the highest build quality over the rest and are built like tanks, I've put this one in some crazy weather and never felt unsafe or like the boat would let me down, Currently looking at upgrading to a bigger seajay next year which Plus there a australian owned and built product which is pretty hard to find these days Hope this helps mate
@@TidesofAdventure that’s great. I look forward to having a look up close and personal to one shortly.
To add to this when you upgrade hopefully I’ve got some funds available if you sell it. It’s got great fish mojo 🤣
@michaelbray6499 haha I've also thought that, the amount of fish that's came over the side is unreal, it's got some serious mojo 😆
@@TidesofAdventure love it!!!! Got my casting arm is getting itchy
hi mate im curious what size boat are u running looks like a weapon of a rig
@undyneuwu2541 hey mate, it's a seajay 453 territory, it's a absolute weapon mate, can do anything in it
Looked like a nice trip 🙌
Just started following, great vid mate! Just out of curiosity what speed are you getting at WOT. I’m getting the same motor put on my boat.
Seen you at the wrecks on Friday we where in a white stacer cab next to you I didn’t realise it was you until we where leaving, we collected crabs but had no luck on the tuskys, did you get any on Friday ?
Hey, yeh that was defs me on Friday, come say hello next time, i lost 2 in another spot and a mate got a few, water was a bit green and temp had dropped from the rain, might of had something to do with the slow bite?
@@TidesofAdventure will do, ah yep sweet do you guys have a Insta page ?
@@TidesofAdventure mine is d2our_adventures
@@Browntribeadventures hey mate, no, not any more, we are only on Facebook now, search Tides of adventure and it will come up
@@TidesofAdventure ok no problem I don’t have facebook but I’ll get the misso to follow you! We will have to t up a session, we have a mad grunter spot 60-70cm in the bay 🤫
What’s the rod and reel set up boss?🤔
hey mate, its my GT setup, Oceans legacy aggressor pe6, daiwa certate sw 14000, pe10 tasline and 150lb jinkai plus leader
Are you using live crabs as bait…?? If so where did you get them ?
5 things... talk to the little one a little nicer!!!!!... please shorten your tags.. did you not have scisors.. hahaha .... the little one should be wearing a hat.. you were... maybe let her reel in a fish... she'd love to reel in a dirty mac tuna i bet!!!!... and last of all.. i am glad i made it to the end of the video, cos watching you interact with the little one was awesome... and a sixth thing... the MH colaboration is a great thing. Sounds great!!!... :)
Where at moreton were yo u fishing
Nice fish mate. Great concept mate with the shirts all to a very good cause 😁
Thanks mate, keep an eye out, it's not far off 👍
Nice work mate. How heavy is the gear you using
Hey mate, thanks its my heavy stickbaiting rod, pe10 braid and 150lb leader 👍
@TidesofAdventure a bit light for the big one's
@@moleyfishing8688 If that's light, you're clearly doing it all wrong mate.
@@smithys3512-lg5yx yep that my light set up
❤❤❤
Hey mate, how shallow can you take her?
Pretty shallow mate, 0.3 it will float, and ive had it on the plain over a bank at Lucinda and it was 0.3 aswell
@@TidesofAdventure cheers mate, wonder how much that is effected as you go up the two bigger sizes.
@@MrCal93h id say it would change it a little, depends how big you go, i reckon the 483 wouldnt be much be too different
@@TidesofAdventure good to know brus! Still this thing over something like a renegade? Bout to pull the trigger 😂
@@MrCal93h its up to you mate but id go this every time, there so solid and well built, the amount of bracing under the floor is crazy, ive had it in some crazy weather and ive never once felt unsafe in it
Lol there are so many bcf m-effers crab pots that you can barely navigate a boat and they wonder why good crab is hard to get 😅
Hi whats the hydrofoil that you have installed , I have the navigator and porpoising is an issue.
Hey, it's a Sport Se 300 you can get them most places
Are u around the brissy area or marrochy
Hey mate, we are Brissy area
@@TidesofAdventure oh awesome. miss that area i grew up there
I hate people. hate how you cant just set ur pots with out people stealing your crabs, pots or leaving pots open or no bait. u need to sit on ur pots these days.
Mint morning session guys! Great to see you working together. Where abouts in the bay were you?
Thanks mate, this was around southern bay islands, 👍
Love a couple enjoying daytime adventures priceless. 😊😊
Oh no theres structure 20mtr to your left when you had the cuddle fish great vid
How u throwing your net there mate? Interested!!🤔 looks way easier than my madness😂
Chris is going to show me next time we are out, we will chuck it in the next prawning session, cheers Naomi
@@TidesofAdventure yeeew🤘 appreciate it
Net over shoulder. Split net into too Grab the closest bit of chain. Hold in small fingers. Grab the rest of the net in each hand and throw. The chain in your small fingers should be the last to leave.
Come on mate where’s the star of the show ? Jks aside good job 👍
It’s good to see Naomi and you go halves in everything , you catch them and she eats them 😂 . Good video, waiting for the next one.
Haha she said too right More vids on the way 👍
prawns are on
Steak and chips lol
If u want to catch crabs up there u need to put your pots up the little creeks as far as u can get,the share farmers wont bother their crummy arses to go up the creeks too far.
100% mate, will be giving it another crack this year
Thanks for sharing guys. Just found this channel and subscribed. . Looking at upgrading to the same combo from a SJ 3.7 HS. Can i ask, what's the total length on the trailer with the engine trimmed down? Look forward to many more videos from you guys.
Thanks mate, you won't be disappointed, we originally had a 3.5 creekmaster and went to this, you will be blown away I'll have a look at it tomorrow for you and get back to you with the measurements
Hey mate, it's 5600mm end of trimmed down out board to end of drawbar, hope this helps
@@TidesofAdventure Awesome. Thanks guys. I'm like you, the boat needs to fit in the garage and i only have 5.86m to work with. Cheers for your time.
I don't think Naomi really wanted to be there! Did you force her to come along! haha Looks like fun to me, some good crabs there!
You are living the life! Nice home...boat...seafood fishing! What more could you ask for?
Ps weve got our pots in atm so im looking forward to giving it a go 😊 we have the same crab cooker from BCF 😊
Goodluck, seems to be a few around 👍
Really enjoyed learning about cleaning the muddy, as we love mudcrabbing but they always taste so strong so we end up just giving all our mudcrabs to mates ❤ thanks guys x Jacinta
Don't BS about sharks Mate! you can catch sharks if you want, Bull sharks aren't protected I'm Fn sick of BS winging and super disappointed you have joined the mob
Not really in terms of keeping them. Lucinda last September (2023), couldn't get a fish to the boat except remoras. Put on some heavy gear, got a shark to the surface after 40mins, well over 2.5 meters - sharks are 1 only under 1.5 meters (qld rules) so what do you do? Pack up and move - only to find more sharks... they seem to be everywhere lately
Hi Chris & Naomi, Chris - Was great bumping into you the other week at the local BCF with my old boy. What prop size are you running on your Yamaha 70? Seems to go well. Thinking of changing my Yamaha 70 currently have a 13-1/2"X15"-K but thinking of changing it to a 13-5/8"X13"-K? Keep up the videos guys
Hey mate was good to meet you, I'm running the same problem you have, I can get 65kmh top speed not that I ever do, I know I changed it at the beginning to gain a bit more top end, depends what your lacking to which way you go mate
Even trim full down with hydrofoil on still has a hard time getting out of the hole. Wants to stand up for too long. I must admit though having a couple of hundred Kg’s of blokes on the seating doesn’t help. Haven’t got an electric on the bow yet which would help the front end. I think the loss of top end speed might be worth it, like you I rarely open up past 3/4 throttle.
@jamesgill4397 if it's doing that mate it would definitely be worth losing a bit of top end, I'd say the prop I first had on the boat would of been suited but I can't remember what it was
Mate muddys don't school as such they walk be it from fresh water cold conditions or in and out to sea and along coastline Thriw a zip tie on your clasp rope that'll tell you if your been raided a bigger bait will help well tied in centre of pot crab some deep some shallow spots away from sand hence the bluey
I think the yanks national day is independence day mate.
It is
I actually prefer sand crabs mate, much sweeter than the old muddies
Each to there own mate, we love sandies too 👍
You’re right old mate 😆 🔥
Great channel guys. May I ask where you were casting for the prawns in MB?
Thanks mate, this was at the southern end of Macleay 🏝
@@TidesofAdventure Thanks, can you also advise the type/model net of Dave’s you were using?
@blpieper we use a 12ft top pocket
what time of year do u find is best to get the prawns down south in the bay
I would start looking over the next month 👍, the rain has been good so they should be on soon
@@TidesofAdventure cheers mate
This is what I don't get you show 19 minutes on catching them but don't show the cooking and eating parts we your viewers want to see you cooking them up in some good recipes or just boiling or steaming them watching how you pick them clean something more than showing a claw cooked
Something we can do in the future vids mate 👍
I love how chilled out you guys are... Its nice to see regular people still kicking round TH-cam.
Looks like a great muddy spot, fun to catch but Sandy's are our fav to eat 😊 great vid x
