Two years later... you're a life saver! Airpods were working fine on my iPhone but on the Mac it was only playing in the right ear and it was driving me nuts. Was worried my airpods were dying or something, now they work perfectly on all devices. Thank you 🙏

It’s already egregious on Apple’s part charging close to $70CAD for a silicone case that costs a couple bucks to make (this is factual, as I worked for a major teclo and was privy to accessory costs…btw, they charge the telco about 10-15x what a competitor would charge for an accessory, but they get away with it, I guess, because the client has the peace of mind that they are buying an Apple approved product given the fact that it is OEM versus what I would consider to be an alternative that’s on par or even better quality for a fraction of the price. But, I get it now: those marketing geniuses at Apple - yes, this is sarcasm. But, the lengths they went too on this one is so trivial and gimmicky, I’d be remised if I didn’t point it out and have a chuckle to myself, reminiscing on my past life dealing with this one of a kind OEM… the colour matching ring corresponding to the silicon case colour. I assume some type of unique identifier is included on the MagSafe ring that speaks to the software. Wonder if anyone else, st least from a case manufacturer perspective, was able to replicate this experience somewhat by being a lot more tech savvy than I am and determining how this identifier is triggered on the OS and emulating a similar experience vis a vis case color to charging ring via inclusion to MagSafe ring or something else within the case shell. Oh, and you’d probably pay $10 for that case. So, in he event they were able to crack the code, you as a consumer need to determine how much having that feature is worth to you, and maybe the Apple logo, but we have seen that bootlegged. Tip, maybe spring for something a bit more expensive that is either more uniquely eye catching or provides better phone protection. Apple does offer a 1 year warranty I believe on the case that does cover damage, which may either be augmented or matched one for one directly by either the retailer it was purchased from, if not Wpple direct. I say this because the telco I worked for offered a one year in store or online but it included all types of damage or defects including regular wear and tear. So we know how our nice beautiful cases become pretty ragged over time, so I suggest a couple refreshed during the one year, confusing in a final swap out right before that year is up. Hey,’it you don’t use it you’ll lose it, so at least make that price premium provide additional value, or else an Amazon purchase or one done at the local mall kiosk should suffice in almost all instances.

Thanks for sharing even though it didn’t work for me. For everyone having issues with using an iPad and safari- here’s the only solution that worked for me.. Forget Safari, install a Google Chrome app instead and load your WhatsApp web from there. Works like a charm. The only downside (if you are a default Safari user like me) is you have to shift to Google Chrome every time you need to use WhatsApp web.
