Unfortunately the dorman 800-404 & and the dorman 800-404 plus another brand won't work for the GM 3.6 engine, I have to purchase the whole heater hose kit so I take off the one hose that I needed. But oh well, I have the complete kit for when the next plastic fitting/hose fails.

he is right that the water line needs to be moved . The septic and water line should be according to code a certain distance apart. what that is may vary according to your particular location .

Video was helpful. Reattaching everything was a huge pain. Took like 6 hours. Wear gloves thats what i found out after. I have a ton of micro cuts on my hands now. Also, I have no clue how you did this without removing the battery or vacuum housing…

Like your videos! For someone who does a bunch of those transmission jobs, an old motorcycle inner tube section works great to hold universal joints while disconnected. I don't think I would have put grease on the spline of the transmission though. I could be wrong but, the throw out bearing could be wrong type for a diaphragm pressure plate, ball type ones are usually for those, flat type ones are for finger type pressure plates I believe is why adjustment is off. ✌️👍

Thank you for this video. My chipper has been sitting in my shed for about 7 years. I took the carb apart and found some dried up gaskets inside the fuel bowl but the rest of the carb looks good. Fuel line leaked so had to replace the fuel line which is behind the flywheel. So with the link to the carb at 14 bucks, it's a no brainer to just order a new carb. You saved me some time and money. I remember it being tough to access the chipping blades but I need to check and see how sharp they still are. Great video.

Having issues with my truck staying running on a 66 c10, I replaced the ignition switch thinking that maybe it wasn't clicking back to running mode after turning everything to start but i'm still having the same issue. It will fire and stay running if i'm holding the key to the right but as soon as i let go it dies.

Not being a smart ass, but maybe a coat hanger inside the bottom of that hose would pose it better. Like your videos! 👍✌️

Why not simply buy the OEM part instead of this "arts and crafts" solution? Certainly, the cost would be very similar, and the repair would be factory correct.

Moss is caused by compacted soil that remains moist for long periods of time and is even worse in shaded areas. I'm guess by the shade pattern on your house this area of the lawn sees very little light. You should do core aeration. For better results do core aeration and solid tine aeration. What you did may work but if you don't aerate it is going to come back. Aerated soil kills moss.

I just changed these on my daughter's car....easy. But unfortunately, it wasn't caught soon enough, and wore out the rearward bushings too. Now I'm just replacing the whole control arm with a new balljoint too. The car is 16 years old.....everything is worn out. That's a throw away vehicle.....drive it a few years, trade it in....not worth the money in never-ending parts and service.
