Hello, does the mod still work if i play another household ? And when we're in editing town option, what is the family that is shown when you click on the apartment lot if there's multiple households in ? Also i didn't understand the part when you talked about other sims going to work and earning money, do you mean that other household in the apartment lot will go to work but will not earn money ?

Recently I found a mod called welcome mat, its by nexus. I think it can help for functional prom, even other stuff as kindergarten. You can try it out...

23:25 Honestly, at least from my experience, there's a good chance real-life students will spend the class talking/ doing whatever instead of work, too, so it's extra realistic 😂 (Fantastic idea btw, will be using this in game!)

all worked except the launcher? the launcher does not have the option to load asi, and her downloads dont even have the patch launcher at all

Careful with enabling testing sheets, it can get the game real glitchy real fast

Everything but the shadows work for me. if I have the lighting/shadows setting any higher than low sims bodies are grey, it looks more like 1 big texture cos sometimes there’s a seam (everything but their head and hair, those are fine) it only happens indoors, they’re fine outside. I’m on 1.67 so I’m not using the ea/origin app launcher. If anyone knows what’s causing it or the fix I’d really appreciate it.

Hopefully one day we'll be lucky enough to have EA release an official x64 version of The Sims 3 with at least Direct X 10 support for PC, so we can take better advantage of modern hardware. 🙏

Is it possible to set up an entirely autonomous apartment wile playing another active lot? Or does one of the families in the apartment need to be active for the mod to function?

The sims 3 is honestly the only game that i've ever felt like i could never "complete", because there are just so many interesting facets and fun opportunities to explore the game, i genuinely think it would take an entire human lifetime to fully play through every element of the game. In contrast, the sims 4 just... doesn't feel that way

This makes me miss the open-world aspect of Sims 3. Sims 4 just have extra loading screens and so little space for a neighbourhood.

People are so dramatic with the sims 3 graphics. They are not that bad and if you’re put off by its graphics you’re extremely picky. The sims 4 doesn’t even look that great.

If I'm not mistaken, the water shader for The Sims 3, the first version, was the same they used in Battlefield Bad Company 2
