How to replace the starter drive (bendix) in a Model A Ford (1928 to 1931). To remove the starter from the car, first disconnect the battery cable at the battery. Next disconnect the battery cable at the starter, then disconnect the starter rod from the starter switch by unscrewing it at the joint about 2" up from the switch itself.     Me an my father built an have a 31 coupe gasser but it’s around 800 horsepower lol an also a 29 sedan around 1000 horsepower lol

    Newton, Keep the original Bendix drive, extract the broken piece, buy new bolts, and have the original available if the new Bendix drive fails.

    Good video. Very informative especially since I'm going to be doing this job very shortly. Constructive criticism. In your future videos try to watch the yeah and ums. It really makes the video hard to watch. And I understand you're probably not a professional content creator, but like I said just something to think about for the future! Still a great video.
