I haven't read ch2 yet **confesses** but after reading ch1 I am more wishing for a WilfriedXHannelore ship than ever. Not because they are at present "just right" for each other or anything, but because IF they were to actually fall for one another, 1) he would be a mate candidate NOT obsessed with ditter, 2) he would get his wish to not have to take on the burden of duty that is attached to the "glory" of being an aub, 3) Charlotte could be aub if she wants to, and she clearly does, 4) Wilfried would probably find himself growing up in order to deal with the potential of marrying into the ditter-obsessed, and 5) it would make her Rozemyne's de facto sister-in-law, thereby pleasing a LOT of people. I'm sure I've missed something. But should they take it that direction, I would 100% be behind a HanneWil ship if it meant he grew up in the process. It always seemed to me like Wilfried was an untapped potential that nearly dissipated and kept being pulled back from the brink of disaster over and over again. Takes too much after his father, I guess... **shrugs**

I'm playing a game called CodyCross that will sometimes reward you "books" for your "library" as you complete puzzle sets, and the set I just finished ("Popular World Festivals") actually describes - I kid you not - a Spanish festival called La Tomatina that sounds suspiciously like the taue fruit throwing the commoners did in the lower city (well, that Myne took advantage of to create immature trombe to harvest, that is, lol). I can't help wondering if our illustrious author was aware of it. Apparently La Tomatina, if the "book" is accurate, is held annually in Bunol, Spain (I don't know how to generate a tilde over the N). It is apparently called "the world's biggest food fight" and occurs on the last Wednesday of August. A bit of trivia to toss into the mix as we wave Myne goodbye... **sniffs**
