4wd Single vs double adjustable suspension launch 😳
มุมมอง 783ปีที่แล้ว
Last year on slicks I fought a bad hop on launches. Switched to some Hammer Concepts and Design torque boxes and @vikingperformance2574 double adjustable rears. I also Lincoln locked the stock trail blazer differential and utilized the stock electronic axle disconnect. It’s early in the season but it’s got much more in it. Now to upgrade the front shocks to something with adjustable dampening t...
Quick rundown on the 4wd Mustang
มุมมอง 2.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Didn’t think our TikTok video would blow up the way it did, thank you. Here is a quick rundown of the setup. Once we get the car out and do some testing we’ll get some more video of it. Big thanks to Cleveland Injector Hospital for the continuous support. If you need your injectors flow tested and cleaned, don’t hesitate to reach out and get yours serviced. From drag racing to boats to motorcyc...
4wd Mustang finally goes 8s
มุมมอง 2.1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Over due again but made a quick video of the 4wd mustang going into 8s before the end of season. Pass 1 went 9.09@149 Pass 2 went 8.99@151 Pass 3 went 8.98@151 Not so great 60 foots Have upgraded a couple things since this so should help. The VSR billet 80/88 t6 is pretty much tapped. Gonna try going to mid 30s in boost. Could really use a bigger turbo! Happy with the progress of it being it’s ...
Update on the AWD Foxbody with racing
มุมมอง 8K3 ปีที่แล้ว
It’s been overdue but I’ve been so caught up with family and many major failures past couple months. Finally got all the major bugs fixed for now. Here’s a recap on most of the major issues I’ve been dealing with.
4WD Turbo Foxbody works!!!

Front diff arrived so I got it installed. Testing the 4wd in the air and buttoning up a few items. Here’s a short clip for now.
4WD LS TURBO FOXBODY RUNNING
มุมมอง 2.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Got it fired up. Waiting on a few more parts but figured I post an update. Expecting a child any day now so next update might be a few weeks out. Hopefully one day it’ll be wrapped and one solid color (the car). Thanks for following along.

Follow along while I build my 89 mustang notch. LS Turbo with 4l80e and s480
👑 $#!+
This was 3 years ago but there was a much easier way to go about mounting the block… they sell adapters to fit the frame as is. G force makes it i think. I have an ls swapped fox
We the ppl love this content
With that oil pan, why you had to move the motor back
Any new videos of this car?
Disgusting, blasphemer!!! Have you no SHAME?!? What is actually Ford in that thing?! Why NOT just get a 80's early 90's stan-maro?! LOL REALLY though, good job on the build. I say get it how you get it. I woukd have never thought of using a Silveraydoe t-case in a build. How has it held up?
Crazy how every one says ls are reliable and I see them popping at the races like water balloons 🤣🤣🤣 but great work 😎😎😎
Sweet build to bad you had to use chevy parts
Are you running E85 yet?
Could you do a video showing ground clearance with all that extra stuff? I’ve been wanting to go awd with my new edge coyote swap
@TBCG
Let’s goo !!!
What old pan with the passthrough are you using?
I just found your channel. I’ve had the same idea for years but didn’t have the money or health to do it. Except my version would be all Ford as much as possible.
We miss your updates 😢
Hell yea, I genuinely love this build so much man.
This is 🔥
how expensive is it to weld, plasma cut and stuff? mostly electricity wise I mean? I am planning on doing a 4x4 conversion like you've done here except not so juiced up. Mainly just a streetable daily cruiser with a lot of capability for ice, mud, snow and other road conditions that can be handled by my car and not others once this conversion is complete. And also being a manual mustang rather than automatic.
Update: 3:26 - I want to tell you how much I have to thank you for pointing out exactly WHAT those knuckles were, had you not say that then I would've been scratching my head until it bled for all I know. lol. And as for the car, it's awesome man. :) For my mustang, it will be the same (sorta...) except it's a NA v8 5.3 and an upgrade g-force gears t-5 transmission with streetable faceplated gears (clutchless shifting) and pneumatic(ally) shifted tcase, suspension, brake assist, and onboard air in general. Next project after my car will be a pickup with a 10 speed or a 13 speed manual and 4wd lol.
Run stiff side wall on rear an normal on front ?
for the axle disconnect, can you convert it to an a vacuum disconnect? I plan to engineer it slightly to be a pneumatic connect so that when i flip an air switch it would connect the axle or disconnect it while being in 4lo, (towing gear in 2wd.) I plan to do the same thing for my 98 mustang, except a manual i stead of an automatic, i dont trust automatics, they left me stranded one too many times.
its so beautiful!! think it can be done on a new edge mustang??
like an 2002-2004? Im not the guy but i will say is that i know the new edge and sn95 models basically share the same body/chassis and i will do the same conversion he did with his foxbody, and if i can make it cost effective i will do a conversion kit i will sell to anyone who wants an awd/4wd sn95 through new edge mustang. Saame applies to newer models though id need to actually buy the newer mustangs to get an idea of where everything needs to be placed and what measurements differ. Other than that, i am more than amped to make a conversion kit to sell to mustang owners.
that's incredible
Hey how much money I need to buy one . I'll save up
Nice
How much for car?
Make an offer
This is the 2nd video I've seen of yours but I subbed about 3min into the 1st video. Awesome car!!! I'll be looking at the rest of your stuff today.
Fully Sick Burnout. Great job on the AWD Foxbody. It's a really awesome build for sure.
Definitely a ton of work but seems like your having great fun with it. Stay safe brother.
What’s the 1/8 mile times on this beast?
Epic! Such a bad ass car
HELL YA !
Darn homie. Lemme get those to do some burnouts too
What year s10 spindles you using
I’m actually using 2015 ford Taurus spindles that are modified
3bolt spindles ?
MASSIVE difference. Looking good bud
Hell ya, starting to dial that thing in! I got that bounce too! We figuring it out
Moving ❤❤
New sub saw it @neo
This is sort of what I wanna do, But I want to make mine set up With a inline 6 out of a Jeep Twin turbo And have it as a 4 by 4 Instead of a 4wd, So I can have it as a daily driver that I can take to a hill climb or rally race By swapping out the Suspension Cv axles Control arms And I was even thinking about using the 300 zx Differential on the rear end As it's not super big but it can handle a decent amount of power And I can possibly incorporate the rear sub frame from it by cutting out the floor Pan in the trunk section And rear seats. And if it's not able to do both of the things by swapping things out I would just build a second one Set up for the other style And have them both able to be daily driver And racing cars
Hey James, if you came up with a ‘kit’ then I think you’d be an instant millionaire 👍
Is the motor far enough back where this is technically now mid-engine?
Thinking about doing a write up or how to on the engineering?
This is an amazing build. The amount of attention to detail is insane
@james ikoa how did you wire up the front diff actuator, 4 wires? im doing this on 92 thunderbird sc
Make an AWD LS swap kit for us pretty please.
Hah. Doesn’t seem to be enough interest to justify it at this time.
@@James_WTFox no please do
I want a AWD Ls Turbo Foxbody :(
*Nice Buid!* 👍
What k member?
Qa1 k member I modified heavily.
I’m subscriber 1000😂. Love the car bro.
Thanks for the support! Maybe one day I’ll put up another update. Lots has changed since the the last.
Love the build. How low does that trans mount/transfer case protector sit before the frame ties?
Sorry I didn’t see any of these new comments. It sits about 4” below I’d guesstimate. It was overly built since I originally drove it on the street a lot, added protection. It’ll get a diet over winter
So the ford taurus knuckles hood the s10 hubs? Aren’t the hubs bolt in for the s10? And the cv axles were the right length for the setup? Did you have to shorten the center shaft for the differential?
The Taurus knuckles had to be modified from 4 bolt trapezoid pattern to a 3 bolt gm style pattern. The lengths are stock to the s10. Center axle is untouched.
