I hope so too, I’ve personally been loving this variant and know it can do amazing things. It just needs the environment. Do I feel like it can keep it with wanted versions? On end board, absolutely. In combo? Not so much to be honestly. But I’ve been doing well enough recently to actually warrant recommending it

I didn’t know it at the time. As I clearly misread Aqua Dolphin a lot and was never called out on it until the game 2 Which only certain parts were shown.

To add something, at the end of your test hand line, you should have kept Yama in grave, you would have had a good board that would play around evenly just the same.

I very much appreciate your long comment as I am very much a person for evolution and constructive criticism when it comes to a deck and everything you had said I will definitely be considering as I become more comfortable. In regards to some of the changes you spoke of, I realistically will make them at some point like I definitely intend to play a 3rd unchained soul of rage and maybe a 3rd Yama because I feel like those are the cards I should be playing 3 of in the deck regardless. I’ll be tinkering with the list constantly as the months go buy and as I acquire more of the cards I need. I appreciate the long comment though, it defo helps

So far have done like 4 tournaments on this deck. So far only lost 2 matches in 4 tournaments. The deck is good

I’ve been on and off winning with it but that is to come with learning a new deck! And one that requires a lot of thought and timing such as this deck. But the matches I have one, have been done with this decks strengths in mind and I love playing it because of said strengths and complexity

I very much could have looking back. But this was the first time I had been playing a newer version of the deck that was more simple. So I was still trying to rack my head around how to play it :)

Branded is a deck I struggle to play against and play a lot. So it’s one of those things things where it may seem like a lot of my video is working against branded but that’s what learning the deck is about

@@RiveriumYGO I hear you, branded is a deck that consistently kills me even if I tailor my end board specifically for it. Even if I end on 2 spell negates with ash in hand, they always manage to draw the exact cards they need to beat it

They’re may come a time where I beat the deck more consistently, like I’ve been doing better against it with Superheavy Samurai but I’d like to think that the reason I struggled against it here is due to me learning the deck in the fly and being unsure of how the deck prepares of branded and other meta match ups. But slowly warming up to some ideas before the end of the vidro

I think it was from Carrie effect, just forgetting to on activation of carrie? I might have missheard the audio. Carrie is the one who dumps all better luck next time gets is the Search and lose life points on activation.

@@godzy1693 I didnt understand the audio too, but if the shs player allowed it to let him resolve the effect of dumping afterwards, then it was really nice. Correct sequence should be: XYZ into chariot, activate her effect by detaching, search the spell, then you can dump a monster from your deck if your life points are lower. Then activate your spell to search your Leon or whatever.

I was absolutely jumped up on caffeine as I hadn’t slept too well and I honestly I put a little too much faith in just test hands

​​@@RiveriumYGOhe could have also chained mirrorjade effect during the branded lost window to banish your bubble reef and you could have not responded, but he went for lubellion tribute first. But since marincess wave negates the effects of the monster, you could have just negated cartesia to stop his play before it even started. Lost prevents activation from being negated, but it doesn't prevent the effect from being negated. That's why Ash works through lost. Many many missplays in this duel, but it was entertaining to watch either way. :)

I appreciate the feedback man. It was the first time we both had played post CYAC and I was still learning the deck. This match up is incredibly difficult for me as a player as I always struggle

Yeah, I’ve only been playing this deck for a handful of weeks. So I am bound to get some stuff wrong and I had a match previously against a deck I really struggle against, so I wasn’t thinking to well

My mate who was playing branded has the gimmick puppet lock sided if he really needs it but he really dislikes using it as it just makes the branded match up go from hard mode to impossible

He cheated or just isnt aware of the machina mechanic. Cant pitch fortress alone to gy to retrieve fortress from gy. Needed one more star.

Despite me only doing a handful of side events, the deck over performed like hell! I went undefeated in a side swiss event which got me enough points to earn a new mat! Which I was very happy about!

Yeah, I think in a lot of instances, you go for the main event, and you did really well in the event. Next time, I will be competing in the main event with you guys

Yeah. Sorry for not replying sooner, my schedule IRL has been packed for the last week or so but the deck over performed and did amazingly well!

Unfortunately there’s little to no room to my extra deck. I would’ve loved to run extra copies of stuff like river stormer and Zeus but there’s no space without sacrificing consistency in combos and board breaking ability. I did test with multiples but the cards I took out I always missed and needed a lot more than the multiplea

With Ash Blossom in the format, They act as bait but not the good type. The Earth lock isn't bad...BUT! Being locked into earths and then not having follow up because I cant use something like unclaspare to atleast try and start a combo
