Not necessarily that they are hyperpop or were precursors, but they helped prime mainstream audiences for qualities associated with hyperpop: heavy synth, short motifs, themes of consumerism, self-referential to pop/pop culture. Mostly tracks from the fame and artpop including poker face, paparazzi, starstruck, aura, g.u.y., swine, Donatella.
