@@TheRotundRider haha fair enough! I wanted to make this one right on the edge of my comfort zone. In its current state it’s almost not even worth riding beside the drop / booter combo. Busser Douglass is a lot more chill besides the chute at the end, but even my dad rides it no problem. Jamieson trails are super rad and I’d be stoked to see a bit of work get done up there, especially on that older steep stuff! It’s just such an enjoyable thing to get out and dig, especially if you got bikes, beers, and buddies! Thanks for the comment :)

@@rexr0b0twars80 making maps that were like, the edge of my skill level was my favourite thing to do! It helps improve skills you want to work on PLUS you get to play songs that you like!! Win-win situation :)

@@FinduroVR i haven't really thought about making maps in that way, usually i try to put something together that is creative and cohesive but i'l probably use that when i get back into map making, out of curiosity do you have any other maps that aren't on beatsaver? i'm curious if there's enough stuff that you've made that shows your progress skill wise

@@rexr0b0twars80 well, id always try to have variety between all the maps I made. Sometimes I’d make more midspeed or acc, if it was a good song or if that’s what I was practicing, but I’d always try to keep things fresh and interesting with patterns that I’d not seen around. That is more apparent in maps like this one, but there is tons of unreleased stuff that I spent hours on that had crazy ideas but I just never finished them up. The hardest map I ever passed was a map I made, which was crisis city, and some of the best scores I’ve set have been on my more “rankable” maps. There is even a map or 2 sitting around ready to upload, I just haven’t since I haven’t played the game in so long

@@redrbobe yeah originally leithal wanted me to make idolize a challenge map, I kinda wanted to as well, but I love the song and it felt weird to make it impossible for me to actually play so I figured I’d make an acc map then a challenge map (I never ended up making a challenge version, but I saw the one that did come out)

It’s really not any harder than any of those to be honest, the entry is a bit treacherous depending on the day but once you’re in it’s usually quite nice. It’s maybe a bit spookier when you’re looking into it though

I haven't played beat saber in months sadly, plus demolisher was my worst rated map :(

Elan Ripstick 94s, I love them! So light yet stiff, and super wide tips which are great for both powder and carving. Perfect do-anything ski 😊

Thank you! I’ve been skiing a long time but my local resort never had anything even close to that caliber of gnar… it’s such a good feeling pushing it but it is still so damn scary every time haha!! Honestly I’d be more concerned with people who aren’t scared at the top of that kinda stuff 👀

We hiked up the showcase t-bar which doesn't run anymore, I think its not recommended but not technically closed. Lots of backcountry access from there if you have the gear!

@@FinduroVR I see. Do you need avalanche gear to get to the glacier with it technically being closed?
