How to build a Line Follower robot
Welcome to my channel! In this video, I’ll guide you through the process of building your very own line follower robot. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced maker, this tutorial will help you create a fast and efficient robot that can navigate complex routes with ease.
Here is my Github repository - github.com/NYDEREK/LineFollower_GRUZIK2.0-light
Materials :
- IR sensors KTIR0711S
- Motors Pololu 3071 10:1
- Motor drivers TB6612FNG
- Tires Kyosho Mini-Z tires
- Wheels you can find in my repository
- Battery Dualsky 150mAh 2S 7.4V
- Bluetooth module HC-05
Credits to VAYUYAAN for making graphics with IR sensor that i used in my video - vayuyaan.com/blog/ir-sensor-working/

#linefollower #robot #stm32 Github repository with 2.0 version and code etc 😉 - github.com/NYDEREK/LineFollower_GRUZIK2.0-light Hi I am 16 years old and I have been doing this robot for 4 months this line following robot is not as advanced as I would like but it works and I am happy with it. The name of this robot is Gruzik0.5 because the previous robot was Gruzik(Gruzik means rubble). Gruzik h...
Hello Your video is very interesting and bravo for your performamnce! I have a question, how do you take turns at this speed? I can’t with the PID. The robot goes straight ! Thanks for your help!
Nice!!
nice, thanks for guide
Your video was very helpful. Can I get your mail / any social where I can contact with you !!! I am also trying to build a line following robot. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and expertise.
Why not use esp32 or arduino ?
STM32 is faster than Arduino. A typical arduino with atmega is only 16MHz, the STM32F103 I used in my line follower is 72MHz so it is faster, you can also use ESP32 with 200MHz, but small microcontrollers without legs are difficult to solder with a soldering iron. I wonder if an ESP32 module with a built-in Wi-Fi antenna would be heavier than my stm32 and HC-05. You can use whatever you want, line follower is a very simple project, so even a basic arduino will do the job quite well. The STM32 was my choice because I was trying to learn how to program it.
I'm making the same project! A cell is how large?
what sofware you used
STM32CubeIDE and you have software for version 2.0 in github repo :)
What software do you use to program it?
STM32CubeIDE with HAL
Hello! What a great robot you have there! Me and some of my friends are also looking to build a line follower robot and are wondering how you started the robot wirelessely. Could you please help us with that?
In my robot i am using driver which has start/stop pin so just pulling it up or down stops and starts the motors. I send him "S" by bluetooth then he pulls it and the robot starts.
I like the music playing background ❤
What app did you use for 3d in yt cover ?
Good Work👌 how may I contact you?
Very nice robot, with good drivetrain and quite nice grip. You could improve it fruther, but congratulation on usting STM32 instead of Arduino. I would make it bit lighter and invest in better motor control. TB6612 is very popular choice, but there are better opions right now.
Thanks for the advice, the next one will be much better 😊
Can you teach me?? I am from Bangladesh
Would love to know how to build this step-by-step! Thanks for sharing
Make a video on how to build this one
Great idea and will think about it
awesome quality, fire song 🔥keep it up, just next time record in 60fps or even 120 🔛🔝
