Finland vs Australia - Which Is Better?
Whats up ladies and gentlemen! In this video we are going to have a fun concept which is finland vs australia. I will go through different criteria and score to see which country i personally prefer and why. Australia and Finland are very different so it's quite hard to compare the two but here we are. I want to mention that i do love Australia a lot and miss it often, it will always be home to me but i guess im pretty used to the Finnish way of life.

Who's living in Finland? What are your top3 things here? Mine are: 1) sauna 2) long summer days 3) space
For food, I think Australia wins as it's so multicultural.
tbh you never get used to the darkness…😅
Does part time jobs available in Finland joensuu
I was thinking, why does this title sound wrong. 10 asiaa jotka ovat outoja suomalaisessa elämässä. it means you point out the problems you have while, within the finnish culture.
if you want to get personal say, elemässäni.
I really enjoy watching your videos and it would be nice if you talked more finnish on camera. Great to hear you are doing better!
Q: Finland vs Australia - Which Is Better? A: Chicago.
I came here from your Finland vs. Australia video. Before that I had watched your video about going into the Finnish Defence Forces, if that was you. I believe that you ended up not going.
This was awesome! I have no idea what you said, lol. We are learning the language through Duolingo, and will most probably join a Finnish School when we are back in Perth.
As a Finn who lived in Australia, I pretty much agree with everything on this video. Glad you're having a great time in Helsinki 👊 All the best, hope you get better soon 🙏
Awesome man and thankyou so much for the kind words, where in Aus did u live?
@jamessight I lived in Brissy and Melbs! Melbourne was great, I liked the nightlife much better and there was more to do, but the vibe and people in Queensland are unmatched. So welcoming and easy to make friends. Australians in general are amazing 👏 I wonder if you've started to like salmiakki? I did get into Vegemite after a few tries lol, and couple of my friends in AUS really love salmiakki, especially Turkish Peber mixed in vodka 😂
@jamessight Some of my best memories from Australia were going to a rugby game, spending time in Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Airlie Beach, and also couple road trips, like for example from Melbourne to Sydney and the amazing views, 12 Apostles etc. And Australia Zoo and holding a koala.
@ ah that’s awesome. Yeah Sunshine Coast is something 👏
Mielenkiintoinen video! I'm going to Australia this July for a month, anything in SA that I definitely shouldn't miss? :)
Im not too familiar with SA as ive never been but ive heard the beaches south of Adelaide are spectacular!
Okay so... a country with nature where everything wants to kill you VS australia. Hmmm I wonder...
Well, I think I would change our Helsinki winter in a second for a Melbourne winter... Without any lethal animals of course :)
Definitely !
4 seasons is nice
I'm Melbournian living in Helsinki for a year. I appreciate the Finns a lot, but it's not even close for me, Aus is a much better place to live in every way possible except education. Bro food, nature, live music, sport is a million times better in Australia, what are you talking about??
I bet Australian winter is tolerable, but finnish summer is nice. From a finn
Video games: Definitely Finland starting with Remedy Entertainment etc, even though Australia has some very good games like L.A. Noire, Hollow Knight, Untitled Goose game, Unpacking, Fruit Ninja, etc. And for example the late Beam Software. Movies: Definitely Australia, starting with the Mad Max franchise.
How about hot people? :D in finland 70% over 30year olds are over weight and that's just 34% so I think Australia wins in hotness :D
Most charts say Australia has more overweight people than Finland, though in some charts it's pretty tied
"In Finland I can comfortably go to the forest and camp without thinking I'm going to die." 😂 Makes me think about how we take our beautiful and very safe Finnish forests for granted. I've never even seen a bear close up and it's not like I avoid forests. Another thing: it was a good and wise decision to take a break for your mental health. Please don't say you will never do it again. I think you absolutely should do it again if it's best for your mental health.
Hi I am in a very similar situation to where you were probably a few years ago and I sent u an ig DM asking for advice
I remember you long time a go with MAUTON, MAYBY rapping? Thats you?
Have u Been in hockey match? I highly recommend that thats how i fell in love with The sport i played football when i was younger and never guit care about hockey but my father and his uncle took me and My little Brother to see couple blues games and we loved it. Edit. Also My father in law and his partner are Tappara fans and they took me and My gf to see Tappara play in finals and wow.
So apparently I don't exist. You learn something new every day
I understood everything, well done

Thank you very much for the comparison video and good to see you back! I wish you that you will stay wholesome like this for all of your future.
Thanks a lot! nice to see you are still following the journey!
Im half Finnish and I live in Perth i always contemplate weather i should move to Finland when im older
Finland is best for finns only.
Aussies in disbelief
@@LukeMadeIt imagine that sentence on the thumbnail 🤣
I watch your videos as youtube recommends them, I'm not that interested that I would actually sub. It is better for your channel that I do not subscribe as opposed to subscribing and then not watching the videos...
Nice vid again mate 👌
Thankyou man!
Killing me mate! ACDC, INSX, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Tame Impala, Gotye (grew up in Melbourne from age 2), Crowded House (NZ and Oz band), Sia, Birds of Tokyo, Nick Cave (Melbourne), Kylie Minogue, Parkway Drive, Amity Affliction, the list is massive.
@@bakeraus Ahhh true man. Yeah I remember hearing heaps about gotye he lived close to me actually (before he was famous). I was also huge on parkway drive as a kid. Honestly it’s probably mainly due to me being away from aus for so many years that I lost that connection to the music.
@ Makes sense. I feel Finland is hitting just now a solid hip hop scene here. Seems to be popular, where in Australia it's been around much longer probably due to our connection to US. Look after yourself man
Eikös tää ollu Mauttoman videoilla back in the days
Oli
Nice list bro! by the way... i must say, even that you talk fast, you speak so clearly... so even i can understand it very well! points for that! :D
Thankyou so much and that’s good to hear. I was a bit concerned about it 😭
@@jamessight no worries about that! And i wish you all well!
Finland wins! Torille! 😁 Nice video, thanks.

My fiance and I would love to live in Finland. We are also Australians. We think it would be an amazing place to live, as well as raise children and travel Europe during the winter months. My mother is also Finnish... Thank you for sharing your perspective. Your story about migrating twice already at your age is interesting, too!
That’s so cool and thankyou for sharing about your story. I actually just posted a video about Australia Vs Finland in terms of comparison! I’m sure you and your fiancee will find this one interesting!
I'm Canadian, and the 'no shoes and winter blues' are things I am very familiar with. Use full-spectrum light bulbs. Nowadays, you can buy fuzzy socks with grip strips on the underside to put on when you take your boots off-- much easier to carry about than inside shoes.
