First Time Hearing Andrew Sisters - Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy | Reaction
Thanks for watching and for your support!!
I loved this one! Wish I could've found a better quality video, so my apologies.
After watching this, I looked up what boogie woogie means, and I was surprised! It was a genre of music created by African Americans/black Americans in the 1870s and it became popular in the 1920s

This type of performance will return. We are a more global culture and other groups of people may be inspired by this. I don't know if you have ever seen Parkour (which you might want to react to later). But I think if a Parkour athlete became passionate about dance, we could have another iteration of the Nicholas Brothers arriving. This is a 4 minute clip of Parkour. th-cam.com/video/gha6cF9j45I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hQtlaHm3fESiUDZO

IMO if you don’t want to tip, don’t eat out. If you don’t want to depend on tips and having to serve cheap asses, don’t work in a restaurant. I never wanted to be a server for this reason.

You heard Bette Midler recorded this song some 30 plus yrs later. The Andrews Sisters sold betweem 80 & 100 million records in their day and Its a record that still stands today for female groups. This is a clip from an ABBOTT & COSTELLO movie, 'Buck Privates.' They recorded this in 1941

Young people today have no idea what true talent really is. They shot this live with only one take. No computers, no CGI, no synthesized noise, no profanity, just very talented people doing what they loved. I feel sorry for young people today. They are so morbid, so sensitive, so dour. They have no idea how different life used to be before the invention of the internet and the social media circus.

Welcome to the for real world girl. Just like you are probably one of the people who discovered "the Moonwalk" was Michael Jackson and the one who really discovered it was "Charlie Chaplin' and there were many, many others who did it afterwards. Then Michael Jackson copied it. But anyway even Fred Astair complimented "The Nicholas Brothers" when he saw them perform this number. And if not at this "All Black Night Club" well somewhere else. The Nicholas Brothers were performing everywhere especially in New York. Just like old romantic love songs girl. Honestly, when was the last one that you heard that was not from the past? They just don't make them anymore. Adios.

Hello again.... I thought you might appreciate another video I just found. It is a clip from the movie "Tap" in 1989 with Gregory Hines.... an incredible tap dancer, who was challenged by the all time great Sammy Davis Jr.,,,, then by "Sandman", the Nicholas brothers and a few others. Since this was in 1989... I would have to say that I believe the others are in their 70's or 80's in this movie..... now watch these all time great dancers dance against Gregory Hines.... truly amazing! I thought it would be a special treat for you to see this.... Enjoy!! Tap (1989): Challenge Scene www.youtube.com

I am so glad to see the younger generation being interested in the dancing and music from this era....... my parents era. I am 62 and I love music from this era.... my dad used to sing in Barbershop Harmony groups when he moved down here to South Carolina, I loved that.... and when he passed away in 2019, I got his whole music collection from the 1920's through the 1970's-80's... I have really enjoyed listening to this music.... great energy when you need to clean the house... upbeat and fun! I just subscribed to your channel and I wanted to share a video with you that I found recently of the Nicholas Brothers. The video is from 1936 and the brothers are about maybe 8 and maybe 12 or older, I'm not sure, but they are singing and tap dancing here in this video as well, it is for a radio show. I thought you'd appreciate this one since you didn't know much about them. Enjoy! "Lucky Number .. Nicholas Brothers .. 1936" www.youtube.com/

He wasn't talking religion, he was talking about cultrual appropriation. Pharaos persecuted the jew minority that's why they ran away, the majority of egyptians were idol worshipers who are portrayed in every wall and statue from that time and the skin colours were accurately portrayed, black africans or jews have no right in steeling the egyptian history and claiming it as their's because some of them were once there. The ancient egyptians were not black and they were ruled by a black dinasty once in their whole history and there is no harm in researching this period of history and making documentaries about it. But just like the greeks, the black rulers invaded egypt from southern Africa. The majority of northern africans are of white or slightly brown skin colour, there is internet and youtube and people just have to click to see the truth.

Cab is talking scat similar to talking Jive in the 60's. Stormy Weather was a great all black movie, on of the biggest productions featuring an all black cast. The movie is a part of black history and should be watched in its entirety. The Nicholas Brothers were not the first hoofers that featured splits but they are the most graceful in my opinion. We will return to this quality of entertainment once we have full control of our product. Our standards of talent when it comes to music and stage acts has been so watered down, it can be discouraging. But I keep the faith it will get better in time.

“Arab” is not a race. Arabs are people who SPEAK Arabic language. So Lebanese, Palestinians, Egyptians, Moroccans are Arabs because their mother tongue is Arabic. They r ethnically Lebanese, Palestinian, Egyptians, and Moroccans respectively. Also, modern day Egyptians are only 17% Arabians (people from Arabian peninsula) but 78% of the modern day Egyptians are direct descendants of Ancient Egyptians. 3% Jewish descendants.
