Absolutely! Obviously, it's purely hypothetical, but considering how the program is looking this year and how travel is now less of a concern (for most schools at least) there could be some potential here. The MWC can get pretty creative here, especially now that Air Force is rumored to be looking at the AAC. Curious to see how it shapes up!

@@rangersking6699 I wanted to purely highlight FCS schools for fun. I could 100% see New Mexico State hopping in there, I think it's a no brainer as well. I'm sure they'd be VERY happy to join in there.

@@rangersking6699 Genuinely curious, what WCC schools would be be having an eye on? If Gonzaga stays (that's a big if) would could make an argument that the two conferences aren't that far off from one another consider who the MWC is losing.

@@BracketBusters I think Gonzaga would leave, along with Saint Mary’s, Grand Canyon, and San Francisco. MWC has way more ncaa tournament money and exit fee money to reward incoming WCC schools, plus the remaining mountain west schools have rich basketball traditions and packed, huge arenas. It would be huge for those brands to not have to play the likes of Portland or Loyola Marymount or Seattle anymore and instead be with the big dogs where they belong. I don’t see why Gonzaga would say no if offered, it’s clearly a deeper league even after losing SDSU and Colorado state and Boise state than the WCC is. I’ll run a kenpom comp later but it can’t be close between the WCC without Gonzaga, st Mary’s, San Francisco, and Grand Canyon compared to the post departure mountain west plus NMSU and UTEP.

​@@rangersking6699100% fair point on the exit fee money, I think they are getting like a combined $17 million? At least something like that, regardless it's significant funding. If you poached those schools from the WCC you are looking at the MWC being a Top-5 conference again. Plus, you wouldn't have to worry about the FCS schools coughing up the $5mil transition fee to move to FBS.

@@BracketBusters the mountain west is receiving $17 million per school for exit fee, plus another $43 million in poaching fees from the pac 12 as part of their football scheduling agreement. That’s a total of $111 Million!!! They’ll get even more if UNLV and/or Air Force leave!

If IU looks like they did last year, you never know!

@@BracketBusters anyways, I’m pretty sure the reason Wichita left for the AAC was because at the time the AAC was an elite mid major basketball league. They had 4 tournament teams in 2016, the year before Wichita entered, 2 in 2015, and 4 in 2014(yes they had Louisville that year, but at the time they had recovered!)

Absolutely, unfortunately I think it'll be difficult after Indiana State lost to Illinois State & Southern Illinois and Drake lost to UNI.

Mcneese state, they have a very high paced offense. You might want to look into their coaches recruiting as well because he had a quick program turn around and a lot of looked like the players.

You also might want to go into the specifics of the offense in your video, you were quite general with terms like fast paced and good offense and decent defense

I like that idea as well! I was trying to find the balance between too many statistics and too generalized and the end result was definitely more generalized. I think there's definitely a happy medium there.
