Developing Your Leaders to Create and Sustain a Positive Work Environment
A 2024 report by GoodHire states that 82% of employees would leave their job due to poor management. Leadership can make or break an organization, and the lack of effective leadership is a significant contributor to employee disengagement and high turnover. Leadership is more than just managing tasks-it’s about guiding, mentoring, and inspiring others. However, many leaders struggle with balancing these responsibilities, leading to a work environment that stifles growth and innovation. In this webinar, we’ll discuss how to create a leader that drives a positive work culture for employees to thrive.
In this webinar, you will:
- Develop leaders who not only manage but also coach and mentor their teams, fostering a culture of continuous growth.
- Understand the power of leading by example and how it can inspire trust and accountability within your organization.
- Explore how supervisors directly impact organizational success and how to equip them to create a positive work environment.

Not really helpful - just an advert for yourself. Not sure these people can change that readily. Sorry. Or am I being too abrasive. Do I need counseling?

Yes it is an advert for my business. Like all businesses I must do some marketing. My 13 years says otherwise, most can change. Some cannot. If you think you might need a coach and are willing to put in the work, then sure, I'm happy to coach you.

Hi dear!!! Hope you are well. Your video-making is very good. Your content ideas are excellent. But I was researching your channel and was shocked to see that your every video has lower audience engagement and also reaches much lower. If you permit me to do so, I will share some information to increase your channel. Then you get lots of subs, views, and a larger audience reach organically daily. Are you interested to know?

It’s naive to say that they are unaware once it is reaching to that point. The whole interviewing 15 people to get An idea? The most manipulative people with these behavioral problems only need one victim, and will be the best person ever to everyone else. Which they do on purpose…

I can only tell you what I know from 13 years of coaching these individuals. Feedback from their peers and subordinates goes from they shame people, yell, create fear and more to they're more positive, approachable and better communicators. The employer is also coached to hold them accountable, which is a main key. Yes sometimes I've coached someone I believed to have a personality disorder (which I'm obviously not qualified to say, it was just based on comparing them to other clients) and no, they couldn't change. But most do, 💯

Ambiguity is very important. I work in a place where everyone does everything and yet there are 3 level of leads. It confuses the regular workers because they do the same work as the lower level leads and most of what what top lead does. I have been trying to talk to our supervisor about creating "levels" that people are responsible for so that newbies feel that the "leads" deserve respect for their knowledge. Hard to respect someone who makes more than you but does the same exact thing

I don't believe that those exhibiting the bullying behaviors are unaware of what they do, and how they come across. I realize that it is your business to offer compassion to those you coach, but, believe you, me.....for everyone that you do coach...there are many, many more....that are not being coached...and are slipping under the radar; because....as you've said....rarely...do those that are being treated like swill...actually come forward.

Thank you for working on this issue Sue. Systemic changes are needed in all levels of our world right now. I'd be interested to see if there is a male/female component to the workplace bullying discussion. In my former life, before nonprofit work, I was almost entirely the only female as a mechanical designer in engineering for 18 years. There was a lot of that, or attempts at that. Great interview!

I've been told by MANY people that I'm abrasive but idk why. Now I just don't talk and just answer questions as precisely as I can without adding my personal opinion. And nod and try to listen when people talk. However, I still make any people uncomfortable for some reason.

They know people think they're tough, but they don't understand what they're doing that is abrasive and they don't understand the impact they have until I've been able to help them see it through interviews. They're often appalled, sad and scared to know how they've been hurting people.
