I am going the opposite way. As I get older I find myself going down to the KTM 390 Adventure from the BMW F800 GS. The weight savings are helpful. I am not doing as much highway anymore. And the new KTM is better kitted for a far less price than my old F800 GS (which i had to sell a few years back).

The bike is a peache 🍑 to ride. Smooth, torquy and solid construction. Gives the confidence to ride and take it for much more long rides that it was initially intended. The seat is firm but not uncomfortable, the riding position and ergonomic deign is so good that you forget the harshness of the seat. This was a bonus surprise!

“adjustable clutch levers”. Do you know how a bike is set up or just reading info and repeating? Only has one clutch lever. It is the clutch and front brake levers that are adjustable.

Keyless ride isn't standard as far as I know, its an extra you have to pay for.

Voyager 1700 is rubbish for handling. I've had 1600 Vulcan and 1700. Voyager is comfy but rubbish in bends and feel very heavy. Had Goldwing 1800 and was great but didn't like the sporty position so now I've got a Harley CVO 1800 best so far out of 5 bikes I've had.

They are comparing the latest BMW to the base outgoing model of the Triumph. They should be comparing to the 2024 Tiger 900. Not an honest comparison imo. The Tiger 850 has been axed for 2024, they aren't even making it any longer.

Don't agree at all....BMW and KTM are hands down superior above the other...they don't even come close. I would also add, that the African Twin is above the Triumph, Harley and the Italian pony

A proper adventure bike in my opinion has to have shaft drive. The BMW is king and all the other manufacturers know this deep down. It doesn't matter how many horsepower you have, remember that the high powered bikes guzzle gas at an alarming rate which is surely the last thing you need on an adventure bike. Please no hostile return comments, it's only my opinion.
