Upgraded firmware version v3.21 ng Platinum Major HD-10 para gumana sa Platinum Link apps. Platinum Link installed sa Samsung Tab S7 12.4 inch tablet. The demo ay naka-overlay ang HD-10 karaoke screen sa Platinum Link screen para ipakita na sabay ang lyrics highlight both player and apps kung gagamitin ang phone or tablet as Remote Karaoke display. Demo with proper audio ay nasa link sa baba.

I think that’s the worst upgrade ever, that hdd karaoke player doesn’t need faster data transmission speed, and i also think that you upgrade it because of the weakness of hdd,
The other reason for the upgrade is that the power supply died so using ssd is less stress for the psu.
Also if you own the Piano XL HDD, you will find out that the psu is on top of the hdd and the temperature is a bit hot. By the way the upgrade to SSD does not mean to speed up processing but better for constant moving the player.
How about sa XLSD po? Pwede ba ma clone sa extra sd card ang files?

Dahil Standard definition lang ang Piano XL ay mga downloaded videos sa youtube ay kailangan convert to 480P. Piano XL HDD ay walang menu para mag-add ng user content kaya kailangan hugutin ang hdd at gamitin ang PC to transfer the converted or 480P videos.
Ang location ng user files ay nasa __USRDAT folder at ang naming convention ay songnumber-title-artist.
Format ay avi at ang bitrate at least 2000kbps.
Usually ang mga user content ay nasa range na 90xxx at kung meron nang dating loaded sa player ay gamitin ang last number for the new video clips or mp3.
Sir ano po bah problema ng player ko platinum piano xl sd po minsan hindi gagana ung remote control minsan gagana ano po kaya problem njn sir?
Ang mga posibleng dahilan ay masyado malayo ang player being controlled, mahina ang baterya ng remote, medyo natatakpan ang window ng remote sensor sa player o meron flourescent lighting na nakaka-apekto sa Infrared signal.
Kung ang basic troubleshooting sa mga nabanggit na possible cause aay hindi solved ang problema ay mas maigi nang dalhin sa service centre or to a qualified tech person. Don't forget the bring the remote kung dadalhin for service.

Mas okay yung SD card lang kisa hdd delikado kasi ang HDD kapag na alog or na bagsak madali masira yan HDD kisa sd.

Kasya po. Ang nagparami lang ay mga MTV files pero sa new batch ng Piano XL HDD ay tinanggal na lahat ng Platinum.

Sir, tanong lang po kung pwede maglagay ng HDD (yung ssd para low power) sa Piano XL SD?
Medyo mahirap po dahil iba ang firmware ng Piano XL SD kung iconvert na Hdd ang gagamitin parehas ng Piano XL HDD. Kailangan niyo rin ang SATA controller sa SSD at hindi na magagamit ang usb port dahil dito sa usb controller kakabit ang SATA bridge. Check niyo yung video ko sa internals ng Piano XL HDD.

Hindi protected ang hdd ng Platinum so it can be cloned easigy.

Late reply sorry. Sinubukan kong gawin expansion ang sd card at hindi puede, gamit lang siya for updating the player. Ang __USRDAT folder ay located mismo sa hdd at ang firmware sinasabi na doon basahin ang files.

Hindi supported ang expansion sa XL HDD kasi more than enough na ang space for user content.

This is Bullshit! Can't even add songs to this unit and the company don't even get back with you for assistance. There's supposed to be a software to add music, but couldn't find it anywhere on the web. This was a waste of money.💩🖕
Tanong lng sir meron po akong nirerepair na platinum BMB ONE nag short po ang kanyang HDD ,dinisconnect ko po ang HDD, hindi po ba talaga tutunog pag disconnected ang HDD sir?
Mamats, ginamit ko na la g yung cloner app sa windows, migrated to 240gig ssd, malakas kasi masira yung hdd lalo na kung malakas sound system, reason is hard drives are cer sensitive to vibration.

Hello and good day, I Just bought this HDD in June 2022 and brought it back to USA, worked fine and now it just stays on showing LOADING. Nothing happens thru remote either. Is there a reset button or what can I do? I tried calling company and the phone I use rings. Please help

Kuya, you are a Godsend. Thx so much for sharing this. I am deciding between the Sd vs HDD model, and this confirms my Q from your other video of transferring files from HDD to SSD. One Q lang po, after you transfer the files to the SSD, and finish the installation into the Piano XL, do you need to do anything else, like reformatting the new drive? THX po
Kuya, another great video o the Piano XL. Ask ko lang po, if you can make a video on showing us hot integrate it in the Piano XL. As I recall po, the XL came with a SATA push on connector, so, how do you connect the SSD to it, plus, do you need to reformat the SSD after copying the files, before or after the installation? Ang SSD ay parehas ang connection sa Hdd kaya compatible ang connection nila. Connect as is.

Hindi masyado malaki ang casing compared sa standard karaoke player. Sakto lang ang space para sa ventilation.
How about trying those 4 Preset Creative Flight Modes? Just set your distances and let it go. Maneuvers are done, automatically, for us.
I will be doing more practice sir when I get there in the Philippines. :)
