Tara I feel that your teaching is a service for the children you teach and society at large.
@@courtnieburrell3266 you are very kind. Wonder if the kids think that lol! Thank you again!!!
Sitting down this evening to catch up on John : ) Okay, already editing... ha! 7 minutes in and you are reading 12:23-33 And I'm thinking- in the hard things am I praying Lord, take this from me or Lord, glorify Your name. And I stopped, listened and read with you two or three times. 2nd edit : ) the ESV says in v. 4 that He rose from supper. So maybe they hadn't started....they were eating when Jesus dipped and handed His bread to Judas after washing of the feet. 3rd edit... : ) Proverbs 31 would be lovely! It has been at least 10 years since I have studied it!
@@RenewingStitches I know Amy. A former student of mine died Saturday in a car wreck. 19 years old. Our children are experiencing so much hardships and they don’t know Christ. Keep this young man’s family in your prayers! Praying for you also ❤️🩹
@@mudcreekstitcher Oh friend, I'm so sorry. I'm praying for you all right now and for the Lord's name to be glorified at the same time ❤
Glad to see you back! I have 2 ( soon to be 3 ) full coverage projects going on. I do them all on 18 count and I do 2 strands, the coverage is good that way. AND I just finished the Proverbs 31 project this month!! It's a whole lot of back stitching but it looks so good. And all of those little squares feel like mini finishes when you get them done.
@@connieschweitzer8163 thanks so much for sharing! I am going to try 18 count. Really like it. And excited that someone else has done Proverbs 31!!
Loved spending time with you! It's a joy to see your stitching and quilting. I have a feeling you are going to skip right to Christmas next time. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
You are so right! Christmas is definitely on the brain.
If you're questioning it, means you don't love it, which means you won't work on it. Rip it out and try different fabric. Some Stitchers think of full coverage as a whole different hobby. Try different techniques on different wips, see what works best for you and your stitching style. You can do it! 🎉 sparkle n Shine ✨ Julie
@@SylverStitches bless you! Wonderful advice!!!
Hi friend! I’m still watching, though I had fallen behind. I’m catching up now. Thank you for doing this study. I know and appreciate the effort (and even bravery) it takes 💕
@@ContentedNeedleworkerKim girl you are a gem!💎
I enjoyed watching your video! Spouse was watching a little at the beginning and started laughing about the peanut butter with the dogs. As far as the pattern and the material, I say rip it out and use it for another project. I did a Dimensions kit with Santa and a little girl and changed the material to 16 count Aida. (It came with 18 count). With that pattern, I had to use three strands or four strands in places. The 16 count didn’t make a great big change in the size. I say look at the pattern before deciding what size count you want to use. Have a great day and weekend!
Thank you so much for advice! I want to start like 4 Dimensions. Excited but unsure how to go about it. I really am the PB Dealer. LOL
I have been eyeing the My Big Toe Books of the Bible...and now it's in my cart! Will stitch with you, though it may be a bit out of order...I'm going chronologically...will have to figure out the stitching on that : ) So excited to see your start on the Be Happy Sampler and full coverage- yay!!! Also, I didn't hear the dogs much at all. Have a great weekend! I enjoyed stitching and catching up with you this evening.
Wonderful! Now I love reading the Bible Chronologically! When I finish, I should do that again...Amy we need to connect so we can send progress to each other :).
The more I read, the more thankful I am. I know you are that way too. ❤
Amen!
Catching up tonight! Thank you for continuing to post ❤ So we are studying Matthew in our Bible study and just got through the part of the Sermon on the Mount when He's saying to be salt and light. You were talking about the light exposing the darkness and it just occurred to me that us being the light in the world is not only a call to shine Jesus into the world, but also to remind them of the darkness of the world. I'll be thinking about that for a bit now : ) Also, love Revelation as well!
Thanks Amy so much, that definitely is food for thought. I so appreciate you!
I enjoy watching your flosstube! I also want to join your stitch a book sal in Jan. I picked And Blossom As The Rose by Blackbird. I have finished the large sampler and always wanted to stitch the other projects. Thanks for this idea!
Awesome and thank you! I am hoping if you all share your progress it will keep my motivation going! Happy Stitching!
Love your stitching. What can you tell me about me about the retreat? I am in the northwest corner of the state, so Kearney is somewhat close to me! Never been to a retreat before and would like to participate.
@@WigglebottomBakery instagram.com/p/C-2_WhwPwhW/?igsh=Nm5nMWY2dm05bm5r Sorry it’s taking me so long to figure out how to link! If this doesn’t work go to Prairiefirestitcher on Instagram. Right now we hope to have a basic stitching retreat with good food and vendors and a few shenanigans.
@@WigglebottomBakery instagram.com/p/C-2_WhwPwhW/?igsh=Nm5nMWY2dm05bm5r This is the link. Just a basic retreat with stitching, vendors, and a few shenanigans
Fun video! I was hoping you could provide a link for the book you showed right before you left for church. I love it.
I just linked in description box, thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot! Thanks for stopping by!
Love all your projects! I'm a trumpet player too (and piano)!! PB "drug dealer" ... 🤣🤣 I really like that shirt you're wearing! Virtuous woman is a cool piece. I think it's a blue bird. Robin's are black and red. (I only know this because it's the MI state bird.) 🙂 Happy stitching! ~Katrina
Katrina thanks so much! Ok, bluebird, good to know. Love that you played the trumpet too! Awesome!
I’d say rip it out and save that beautiful fabric for something that really calls to you for. Why stitch on it if you’re not enjoying it life is too short.
Hi Tara , nice to meet you. Great showing of projects and future. Wondering best way you store linen?.
Thanks so much and I do agree!
@@mudcreekstitcher had a question?
@@yvonnevigil7489 so sorry! Responded on the wrong comment 😂. I am an Aida stitcher. Never used linen. I do know those who use linen are careful about folding it and then there are others who aren’t worried about it. Personal preference I guess
I have learned that if I’m not IN LOVE with a project I’m only going to put off working on it and not finishing it. Save that fabric for another project ❤️
So true! So what do I use it for? This is where I'm struggling...
Thank you Tara! Good study today, one I've heard a bunch of times, but can't hear enough. I can never remember the small details that make this story so precious. Jesus came as a humble man with his promises so great, all the while Satan is clearly present all around. This is so the people can make their free will choice as to who they want to follow. If I don't meet you on this planet, I'm sure we will meet in heaven. God Bless!!!
Thank you Jane! So true, we do have to reread, rehear, over and over. Our sinful nature just pulls at us. I hope we do meet before, but Heaven is a for sure!
Glad to see you back. Awesome WIPs and love all your new material. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much!
Honestly? Yep! Rip it! To me it looks too busy. Love all your other WIPS Tara. I always use 2 threads on 18ct. (Usually DMC) and love the depth of colour it gives. Great to see you back on Flosstube though. ♥️🐨👍
Thanks for the tips! This is why I needed opinions!
I love your idea on stitching the books of the Bible piece. I may have to borrow it. I have the pattern and floss but just need to pick out a piece of fabric.
Let’s do a SAL!!! I’ll gladly get the pattern and supplies …. We need more projects like this one as a SAL ❤
@@gourmettexas I’m up for a SAL for this one!
Yay! I will will SAL Along! Thanks for watching!!
Ohhhh …. So many great projects. I really like that Christmas in Blue pattern.. I’ve never seen that one before. I look forward to seeing your progress on that one!
Thanks again! So sweet of you!
Love the smaller patterns. Thanks for sharing and for being a lady of faith. Thank your hubbie for enduring as a farmer! We spent 8 years in Omaha. My older kids went out on busses during the summer to corn fields and did that corn silk thing. Living in NE was a great experience for our family of seven. We eventually left and returned to Georgia to be closer to our aging parents. It is the coldest I had ever been! I wore 3 pairs of pants to keep warm!! Still, it was a good 8 years for our family. You take care. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
@@Stitcher_in_MD thank you so much!
It's the first day of fall and a humid 91° here in Atlanta. I keep trying to talk my husband into moving north- the artic circle sounds great to me! He thinks I'm kidding. Yeah, I'm not. We went on a date to the movies this week and watched The Forge. 10/10 would recommend! And of course you introduced me to Pricillia Shirer. Ty for these bible studies. I'm sure it sometimes feels you are talking to nobody but I'm here! I enjoy spending this time with you on Sundays.
@@nicolecaldwell9413 thank you! Will have to check out that movie. 🍿 91 uh no thanks 😳so glad you stopped by! Thanks for commenting so I know you are there!
What a cute video, I too like the darker blue!
Thank you! I did finally go with the dark blue, but I tell ya it was a whole mess!
Happy Labor Day weekend, I hope it was restful for you. It amazes me how threatened the pharisees were...they were so scared to lose their power that they didn't see the fulfillment of the Word they taught. And it still happens today. Praying for us all to be like the Bereans ❤
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and commenting. Love seeing what you are thinking!
🎃🎃 Happy September -- I'm going to pray for YOU!! I could hear you but I could tell you have a way to go before your lungs are clear. Please take care of yourself and get rest when you can. Thanks for keeping up with the study even though it's a Holiday weekend and you are about to lose your voice. See you next time......... Janey
Oh thank you! The Prayers worked! Feeling better and a better attitude!
I took your suggestion of investing in floss for a book I love. I actually bought overdyed, called for floss for both Blackbird books, Winds of Autumn and When the Leaves Fall. This is my very first fancy floss buy, and not even colors I'm usually drawn to but it's Blackbird so what are you going to do, go with it! I'm also an Aida stitcher usually with DMC, but thanks for enabling me to spend even more money, lol! Love your channel.
@@tamiemcrae5668 I love enabling others! I am anxiously awaiting my atomic ranch fabric. So glad you stitch Aida too!! Thanks for watching
Thank you for sharing this study. So nice to hear the Word while I stitch along. Yes, our prayers are heard and we should pray for others. In this day and time, we could stay in prayer hours at a time. I have to remind myself that He is in control and I'm not, so that takes a load off my shoulders until the next day!! ha ha I will be glad to pray for any one that asks for prayers. Later, Janey
😢I am a big believer in prayer. 2 yrs ago i was very very sick and in a induced coma they told my children to plan for a funeral. All my friends and family prayed and they had prayer vilgils at church. Here i am today they tell it's a miracle . So i believe in pray and i pray for the stitchers out there that there hands never feel the pain of arthritis.
@@denisefells8204 wow! Just wow 😮. God is just so good! Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
Hi Tara .. another great video! Love your sense of humor and seeing all your stitches! Im looking forward to your Stitch a Book SAL .. dont recall - did you give an official start date for it? The project bags you made are gorgeous! Love the vintage looking snowman material ... so cute! I agree - hate how work gets in the way of stitching! Altho cant complain too much as it is the reason I can create a stash to stitch from! 😂 Hope you have a great school year! Happy Stitching! 😊

Hey Tara! My granddaughter is in 2nd grade this year so YEAH 2nd grade teachers!! Sparkle yes! Let’s have sparkle while I can still see please. Kearney? Retreat 2025? Pick me! Yeah childhood trauma! I love you. 😝🪡🧵☮️❤️
LOL! Love it and I hope your granddaughter has a wonderful year! Let's Retreat!
Please don't apologize for the length of the videos- this has been a wonderful study. What comes to mind when you talked about people standing in line with all the livestock behind them trying to keep up with the sacrifices for sins committed- I'm am so very thankful that He was the perfect and last sacrifice so that we don't have to do that anymore. Also, sad, that He had to be that sacrifice. But also the seriousness of our sin that required the laws in the the Pentateuch (not at all sure how to spell that) which also reflect our need for The Savior.
Wonderful! I think you got that hard correct (at least I think it is and too lazy to google it LOL). Thanks so much for sharing I love being reminded of Christ's perfect sacrifice that should grieve our hearts.
Love your videos, your humor is so appreciated!
Thanks so much!
Tara, I love watching your videos! Your sense of humor is great 😊! I’m going to try to stitch from the 12 Monthly Minis from Primrose Cottage Stitches. Off to see what flosses I have and will need to get. Have a good school year.
You can do it! Definitely share pics if you're on Instagram to keep me motivated!!
I love your videos. You are so positive and a great stitcher. I own that fall book and might join you on one of the stitches next year. I'm a retired 4th grade teacher who never changed schools until they were closed. My daughter teaches 2nd grade and loves it. Have a great school year.
Wonderful! I'm glad I'm not the only opposed to change LOL! Your daughter is in the best grade ever! Thanks for watching!!
Hi Tara, Great to see your Flosstube up. I too like your sense of humour, and enjoy seeing what you are stitching. I haven’t been watching nearly as much Flosstube as I did before. I always watch for you and about 5 others I never miss. I got one of those wooden Ukrainian hoops too. It’s lovely. I feel like I could use it as a finishing piece too to put a seasonal piece in when I’m not using it. See you next time
Thank you Linda! You are way too nice to me! I agree on the wooden hoop, they are so pretty! Want to get a bigger one next time. :)
I have just recently found your TH-cam. I absolutely love your content and how open you are. I’m always looking for people to Stitch with me, but can’t find a lot close to me. Thanks for the fun and laughter.

Hi Tara! I so enjoy watching you! Have a great school year
Thank you!
Nice to see you again Tara - love hearing how you're going. I agree - work gets in the way of stitching, but it does pay for the addiction! I love Sweet Wing Studio designs - I think the one you're thinking of is Joshua 1:9 (Be strong & courageous).

Have a great start to your year! We started kinder on thursday and the rest of the pre-ker's come Tuesday. Do the chickens come home on their own at the end of the day? I've been making my own bags too - a different style - but also proud of what i've been able to do even though they aren't perfect. i adore the blingy acorn and might have to swing by hobby lo9bby to find one for myself! LOL Where is the book page fabric from? I need it!!!
Very nice to here you're making bags too! Unfortunately I bought that fabric years ago at Prairie Point Junction in Cozad. I am unsure who designed it or if they still carry it. Sorry about that!
