What gives here. In other videos that black zl1 camaro ran a mid 9 second quarter mile? Did they tone it down to make it a fair match? I own a 95 cobra with the last of the original 5.0 engines. And now a 2011 2SS maro as well. A few years back i supercharged the 5.0. That sure made the difference in hp. It will fairly easily run with most new muscle cars nowadays. My camaro has a new built LS3 in it from Summit Racing. I lucked out and got my aftermarket warranty pay for the whole thing. I was against paying the extra 2500 for the extended warranty, because I've only ever heard bad stories stories about those warranty companies. But after they agreed to pay for the new engine, I was glad I did get it.

I found out about this monster from a magazine article - either Car&Driver or Road&Track. My friend had a subscription to both of them , and Ive been looking all over for any coverage of this beast just to make sure it wasnty some sort of fever dream. ZeroTo60.com was the key when I found the actual name (1994 Boss Mustang 10.0), and that helped big time. EDIT Must be Car&Driver, as said in the video

I personally have seen the mustang in this video, last I saw the car it was 850hp and did a burn out that reminded me of funny cars from the 70's. The boss motor is the hemi's worst nightmare. Oh and that's 850hp on gasoline. no nitro, intros, turbocharged, or supercharger.
