Congratulations to you Sean, on performing the rather difficult guitar break 'runs' in this song, mostly thirds, at full tempo as on the Beatles record! It turns out, according to Beatlesebooks, that as the Beatles recorded the song, these guitar breaks became the focus of the song. Also, George and Paul SPLIT their duties to accomplish the parts that mostly contain the 'harmony' thirds! We found this out LATER. From Beatlesebooks: "George recalled in 1987, “I think it was Paul and me...playing in harmony, quite a complicated little line that goes through the middle-eight.” In the book contained in the Deluxe editions of "Revolver," Paul states, "It's a harmony riff. George and I would work out a melody line, then I would work out the harmony to it. So we'd do it as a piece. It's just the two of us live." In fact, Joe Walsh, now over 76 years old and Ringo's brother-in-law, worked his tail off after hearing the song (as many of us did, I'm sure), trying to get these 'runs' (riffs) 'down,' alone on one guitar, playing at full speed as you do here Sean. I'm not sure how well he did, but when he found out that George did one of the parts on his guitar (I think the melody line) and Paul did the thirds (the 'harmony' thirds, on his guitar) to accomplish these rather difficult riffs at the required speed (tempo), Joe threw up his hands in frustration! For my part, I play PIANO. I've been working on and off to get these riffs down on my piano. I've got them down, BUT, I too often 'stumble' AND I don't have them at full speed yet. Of course, we all play these in the key of E major, the key the song was put out in. According to Beatlesebooks, the Beatles recorded the first few takes of the song in D major. It took them hours and hours to record this song. If I recall, the riffs that we are talking about were created by them on the spot in the studio as they worked on the song.

I have the 511 ( no locking tuners)I want to know about the top clearly a veneer shows, bu there is a thick top of some material maple? I think they are well made guitars.
