Boeing 737 Pro
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 เม.ย. 2020
Welcome to my channel. Here you will find videos developed for some specific scenarios that eventually a pilot may face. Although emergencies do not happen quite often in real life, professional pilots practice them constantly during their recurrent simulator trainings. To follow the procedures described here, it will be required some general good knowledge about the Boeing 737, including normal, supplementary, and non-normal procedures. Take into consideration that due to the Flight Simulator limitations, some procedures have to be adapted. Feedback and suggestions are well appreciated. I hope you enjoy.
Approach Preparation - updated
This video demonstrates a technique for executing the Approach Preparation, referred to in the Boeing FCOM as Descent Procedures. Operators may incorporate their own specific requirements. The main purpose of the video is to emphasize the importance of consistently following the same sequence and cross-checking the procedures. What was not included in the video, but is the last action of the Descent Procedure, is to read the Descent Checklist.

MCT/DXB: That was my last flight as a professional airline pilot, marking the end of an incredible journey spanning more than 33 years. I truly enjoyed every moment of it. What I loved most was manually flying the aircraft, which made short flights particularly special for me. There was nothing like the pleasure of disengaging the autopilot and auto-throttle to fly the aircraft, especially when...
Holding - Teardrop Entry
มุมมอง 903ปีที่แล้ว
Quick video showing how VOR/LOC can be used during the hold. Also good to observe the DME distance over the station. It's approximately 1 DME for every 6,000 feet above the station. In this example, the station elevation is approximately 3,300 feet. The minimum DME over the station flying at FL 130 will be 1.6 miles.
Engine Failure in High Altitude

This is a test video produced with MSFS and the PMDG Boeing 737. It's an amazing combination of two extraordinary products that offer a huge potential to develop amazing contents. Due to a complete lack of spare time, for a long time I wasn't uploading a video. I'm glad to see that despite of that, the channel is still growing with more people subscribing it. In the future I hope I'm able to pr...

Anyway, I will try my best to keep uploading some interest content whenever I can. Well, I hope you like this video. Took a long time for me to produce it! If you find something wrongly depicted, please let me know. Your feedback is alw...
Salzburg ILS 15 - Missed Approach

This video shows both missed approach procedures: flying with two engines, and also flying with one engine inoperative. In both cases, the lights will be visible at minimums, but for demonstration, the go-around procedure will be executed. Have in mind that these specific procedures may vary from company to company, and may change from time to time. Thank you for watching Just a small correctio...

Engine Failure - Rapid Depressurization
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This video was inspired by a Southwest Airlines incident where, following an uncontained engine severe damage, the aircraft also suffered from a rapid depressurization. Such a combination of events usually is not practiced by the pilots during their recurrent simulator training, and for this reason, the pilots have to use the best of their airmanship to deal with the situation. At the end of th...

All the best, enjoy your second innings 🎉
Thanks for the video! Keep it up because this helps a lot of pilots
Thank you very much for your comment. My intention is always to help pilots develop their own techniques, always based on standard procedures.
Best wishes to you, Captain, and good luck in all your future endeavors. It has been a pleasure to fly and interact with you over the years.

Perfect and straightforward explanation. Thank you!
Anyone here after JJA2216 to see if they could've gone around with one engine and avoid the crash?
Dear, a single engine go-around performance at a sea level airport with no critical obstacles around is far from being a challenging situation. At this point, professional pilots are more curious about what else could have happened. A bird strike is not a reason to land with all landing gears retracted and all flaps up. Fair enough to hear from some pilots (including me), that in case of bird strike affecting one engine on final, most likely they will continue the approach (specifically if the aircraft is already in landing configuration). The decision to go-around is also fair, but the crew usually does not need to rush to land. In this case, it's better to hold and finish the associated NNC.
@@boeing737pro3First of , I am definitely not a professional, I can’t even legally drive a car yet. I think the aircraft in the incident has also received some sort of Hydraulic system leak/failure causing the rush for landing , that might also explain why Flaps and gear are not down. I know there are alternate ways to lower gear and flaps but I think panic took over the procedures and thoughts of the pilots which caused them to not go through the NNC and ultimately forget the gear and flaps, I certainly agree with your point that going around and performing NNC is the best way though.
Wooow thanks it’s simply clear
Please make more videos !! All of your videos are incredibly helpful.

How come that 737 radio altimeter plays Boston instead of 50-30 callouts?
So if both electrical buses are out while the plane is at cruising altitude, would the outflow valves open up if on Auto mode? Is that what caused the cabin altitude to increase at 2:39?
Hi! I'm a researcher for a documentary about planes and found this video very helpful. I was wondering if we could use it in out film?
Thank you!!! and Wellcome ;-)
Wow great video. Thank you for sharing.
