I was wondering how ChatGPT features might help… it’s already possible to get Ai support for lyrics and it is so fast and efficient…

Thank you for your comment, we’d like to take a moment to address your concern regarding MasterWriter being a subscription service. MasterWriter was once a traditional standalone program that you could purchase outright and pay for future upgrades. With the evolution of tablets and smart phones, we began to receive countless requests to make MW compatible on all devices. It was through much consultation that we came to the conclusion that the only feasible way to accomplish this was to make MasterWriter a web-based program. We’re a small company serving a niche market and we simply don’t have the resources to program and maintain a standalone version for all operating systems and devices. A web-based program that can be constantly updated and improved was the best solution. It may not seem that a program based on the English language would require a great deal of maintenance, but we have had a programming team on staff since our inception. Not only are we updating MasterWriter regularly with new tools, features and content, we have to continually address any incompatibilities that arise as a result of an OS or browser update. The move to a subscription-based model was not financially motivated, instead it was our best option to stay up to speed with technology and serve the needs of our users. Another advantage is that all improvements and upgrades come at no charge, so you always have the latest and greatest version.

This is definitely not a hoax, MasterWriter has been in business since 2003, and is used by some of the most successful songwriters in the world. We feel this video acts as a general tutorial, and if you sign up, you will have access to all our tutorials.

Not sure what you mean by save features, but please contact support@masterwriter.com for answers to your questions.

Hi, in answer to your question, no, there is not a feature that generates melodies or chords. MasterWriter is primarily about words and the lyrical side of songwriting. MasterWriter does include a basic audio recorder and you can import audio files as well (for example, you can import a finished demo of one of your songs). I encourage you to watch the Tour again as Rhymes are just one of the many features included in MasterWriter. But, to be specific, MasterWriter also includes, Phrases, Word Families, Synonyms, Pop Culture, Definitions, Metaphors, Similes, Onomatopoeia, Idioms, Oxymorons, Allusions, Alliterations, Intensifiers, a searchable Bible and more. Some of the finest writers use a Thesaurus not to teach them descriptive words but to remind them of all the possibilities they already know. No matter how good your memory is, it is impossible to remember all of the possibilities. Even should you try, distraction is the enemy of creation. In addition to our Thesaurus, MasterWriter’s Word Families gives you choices for hot that you will not find in a Thesaurus, like an angry, glaring, fierce or unforgiving sun. Using your other example, you can use the Adverb breathtakingly to intensify beautiful but in Word Families, but you can also use Adjectives - breathtaking, flawless, perfect and dazzling to replace beautiful. In addition to Word Families and a Thesaurus we offer Phrases, Figures of Speech, Intensifiers, Rhymes, a searchable Bible, Pop Culture, Similes, Metaphors, Oxymorons, Idioms and more. Our program may not be for you but it certainly deserves serious consideration if you are a writer.

While you are entitled to your opinion about what distinguishes a real writer from a fake writer, I view it as just another tool in the toolbox. I can only imagine how wonderful your writing life must be without needing any writing aid such as a dictionary or thesaurus. You must be a fantastic author and have hundreds, if not thousands, of sales on a variety of titles. I envy you and your brilliance.

Assuming you are referring to dragging and dropping from the dictionary results, yes, you can drag and drop into MasterWriter's word processor or the word processor of your choice. I hope that helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
