Sorry to hear that bro. Speaker wires and door lights and window controls have easy disconnect lines tho so don't let it intimidate you, I want to say that the hardest part of the process is probably resetting your window motor but I don't know if the sedan needs resetting because your door has the top window trim and the coupes don't, but good luck bro I hope you're able to fix it.

Yeah so they are tight and like you said I did have a hard time taking them of and not sure if you noticed I switched my phillips to another phillips with a thicker head if that makes sense or you can also use vise grips if you don't have a phillips with a thick head and I did not use WD40, hope this helps you out bud lmk if you have any more questions 👍

@@91342George Thanks George. I'm seeing some replies on the G35 forum that says those screws are #3 Phillips which many people don't have. Their also saying just to buy a #3 that fits a socket wrench ($4.00-5.00 at HD or Lowe's) and they come off fairly easy. I'll let you know how mine goes on my 2006 and if the inside of the door panel is any different.

@@iselabarrios2280 you can take the pavement road to the flag, back and forth it's about 11 miles that way. Taking the dirt trail is about 6 mile in and out.. The way Gorge took is easier then the first hill. Either way if you get to the flag it's great and if you have enough in you go to the fire station.

The door panel? There's screws under the door handle and door latch and you wanna push the panel upwards to take it off.

Did you also pop the door panel clips off that are under the edge of the door from the inside?

Static 90 put the window all the way up so the best way I can explain it would be at the bottom left of the glass so if went down the clamp would hit the door preventing the window from going down, did that help?

+George Morales thank you so much I actually just had adventure doing this. everything was going smooth until it started raining so I had to remove the clamp where I had it and ultimately had to line everything up the hard way . Finally got it right and had to keep playing with the window motor pressing up to get it fully aligned. Now when I shut the door it does like it's supposed to and closes that tiny gap. At one point when I got my window all the way up it would keep going all the way to about the halfway mark, not sure why it kept doing that but after holding the switch up it pretty much went back to normal

Motordyne G35 Thanks buddy. Yeah that lifetime warranty helps a lot.

The lifetime warranty is the only reason I use parts from O'reillys, if it does not have a lifetime warranty, then I go OEM. My radiator, alternator, starter, window motors, cam sensors, coil packs and fuel pump all have a lifetime warranty. Another reason to never sell the G, so yeah I hear you on that lifetime warranty. I"m sold on it too.....LOL.

Motordyne G35 Lol I have half those parts to on lifetime from O'Reillys and I also have my upper and lower control arms and shocks and A-arms all with lifetime with O'Reilly lol

So I take it you are not selling the G, anytime soon? LOL....neither am, I. Not when I have all these free parts. I forgot the brakes pads and the compression arms too. The list is getting ridiculous now I think about it. They bank on people never keeping the car very long, but if you do, I can't see how you don't win. I'm going on 11 years ownership now. The motordyne exhaust is probably the main reason, I will never sell. Sounds like that are a dying breed. Obviously, a fan of the G here.

yes but it's gonna be more difficult, once you take the motor off you can easily pull the window up and hold in with tape or something that would hold it up.

+George Morales I continued to watch to see how many guys are doing this wrong on TH-cam. There is a much faster way of doing this. Leaving regulator and motor attached to panel and removing glass then remove panel complete with all parts attached easier and faster.

When you reach the top of Chumash trail you hit a T and instead of making a right to head towards Rocky Peak you would just head to your left and that's the trail you see in the video.

Or use the right screwdriver size so it won't slip.But yes if you can't losen it up with the screwdriver the vise grips will do.

+George Morales Yeah that works if you have wide screwdriver tips. The vice grips just give me more torque since they are ridiculously tight.
